I took Altace for 2 weeks and started having coughing spells.
During the day and especially whilst lying down, so I stopped the pills 1 1/2 weeks ago and I still have the cough.

I too have had the problem with the coughing especially when trying to sleep at night.. I have been off altace for about 2 weeks now and am also still coughing.. I have lost work and the doctor claims it could be another month before the coughing stops.. I am not happy since I have been perfectly healthy prior to taking this med.. My blood pressure was not even that high...

MY FATHER WAS SWITCHED FROM ZESTRIL TO ALTACE HE DIED WITHIN 4 MONTHS . HE WAS A VERY HEALTHY MAN WHO DEVELOPED SEPSIS AND DIED WITHIN ONE WEEK.

Been taking altace for many years in combination with other medications for BP. Not aware of experiencing any side effects. Wonder when it will go generic.

i have started taking minax due to daughters nagging am now trying to find a way off them my fingers become extremely cold feel tingling legs ache constantly an developing renauds disease because i already have a susceptibility to the cold this has now made it worse these medications are so dangerous been told very rare to have major side effects well they want to talk to the people suffering effects i tried 3 different ones and had reactions to them all drs wont listen the anxiety i suffer due to them is shocking never had this in my life once i get off these will not go on any my bp wasnt that high to start with im angry with myself from evev starting tablet now due to them im on endep to try to give me some relief from constant burning pain which of course drs cant find reason for but i can100 percent tell them i can no longer work find it hard to get through the day due to the burning not like heartburn 100s of times worse im too weak to even care for myself properly
