I have experienced gout in my big toe several times in my life. I am 39 years old and lately I had a pain in the top of my foot toward the back by the ankle. I try to put presssure on ,my foot to walk but can seem to do it very well. It has swollen up pretty bad today and my question is can you have the same thing happen in the foot versus the toes.
