muscle pain increase- Actos

I have fibromyalgia and was started on Actos for Type II August 2...I do not know if this is just a fibro flare-up or it could be connected to the Actos as muscle pain was listed as a possible side effect..interested in others experiences with this...thanks

I HAD A STIFF NECK ONE MORNING A HAVE SEVER NECK MUSCLE PAIN. THE DAY OF THE STIFF NECK THE STIFF NECK CARRIED ACROSS THE BACK OF MY NECK BY NOON TIME I COULD NOT MOVE MY HEAD MORE THAN A HALF INCH LEFT OR RIGHT.

Because of side effects from Metformin my doctor put me on Actos 30mm twice a day. For the past 6 weeks I was averaging 225 (ACTOS doesnt work for me) and developed sever neck pain for these 6 weeks. Yesterday, 2/9 I stopped taking Actos and now at 4:21 on 2/10 my neck pain is completely gone. COMPLETELY

I quit taking Actos Plus as I was having terrible muscle pains and spasms in my upper arms and heart palpitations. I guess it takes awhile to get out of your system, but pain is nearing completely gone and heart is back to normal.
