aciphex and leg pain

I've taken several of the PPIs, but now that I've been taking aciphex 2x a day I have leg pain and difficulty walking. No swelling, and no pain when I'm sitting or lying down. What to do?

I have taken Zantac with my Aciphex. Been on the Aciphex since either 2001 or 2002. I try to separate them a bit (normally it's around my period that I need it, so I can sort of plan around it). I take the Zantac 150, the OTC one. I've known people that take two different PPIs.
I've had the leg problem. B Complex works as does Magnesium. If you take the Magnesium, if you can find the Magnesium Calcium in a 2:1 its the best. Or try one of the Magnesiums by itself. Calcium helps absorbing... but it should just be a small amount. Mom gets away with whats in her multi vitamin for the Calcium. I use "Now" brand from Better Health stores.

I've been taking Aciphex for 6 months. I started having leg pain & frequent urination about 2 months after I started taking it. I stopped the Axiphex yesterday and today I have had no pain. Guess I'll take Zantax in the meantime.(Thanks for comments on leg pain - it helped ease my fears)

I too have frequent urinatin and leg cramps not pain I cant live without it unable to eat in so much distress I only wish it was cheaper I hear they have a generic

Yes! I have frequent urination and I now have what seems to be a weak kidney. I am trying to wean myself off Acipiex because I am trying to treat the problem not the sympton. Wish me luck!
