Anybody else been drinking Alcohol whilst on this drink? My pharmacist said only drink in Moderation. I have had about 6 bottles in a night since iv been on it and can honestly say I felt no different to what I would if I wasnt on the drug. Im only on a small dosage of isotretinoin though. Just wondering if anyone else has drank alcohol whilst on the drug?

I haven't drunk any alcohol while being on accutane but I can tell you why they tell you not to drink. Its not because you will feel an obvious difference, its because being on accutane is hard on your liver and so is drinking alcohol so when you do both at the same time its doubly hard on your liver. So they say that because your liver is working hard enough already.

Accutane is a derivative of Vitamin A. Keep in mind however, that it is extremely potent, concentrated and must be regulated with caution. Accutane is more concentrated than taken 40,000 IU of Vitamin A in one dose; which is already 4 times the maximum daily allowance--which is the reason for liver function tests.

Drinking alcohol, while not having any toxic or severe effects on myself nor several others who I have witnessed drink, is extremely rough on the liver. Consuming alcohol, and getting drunk, is essentially carefully poisoning the body to achieve a wanted euphoria.

Drinking a glass of red wine, or what moderate means to each individual, is perfectly acceptable (in my mind & experience).

yeah dont drink while your on it, and if you do just drink enough to get slightly buzzed. I know, It sucks, but its not worth getting taken off this stuff right when its starting to work its magic or something like that, just lay off the juice for a few months, better for you anyway right?

Actually it's more like 200,000-300,000 IU of vitamin A is equivelent to one 40 mg daily dose of Accutane

I got drunk a few times while taking accutane.

I tried to remember to drink tons of water during, after and the next morning.

That seemed to help avoid a hangover. I'm sure my liver wasn't happy though.

hey all, i posted earlier about my experiences with drinking...

though i did not feel any different physically...i did notice a few things..

my face was looking pretty good on new years i drank, the next night my face began to breakout..it was not terrible or anything, but i noticed it....i drank the next saturday and on sunday night my face looked horrible...and it still does today and its 4 days later...

i am not going to say not to drink, but i would not do it multiple times in a week--i say that becasue i do not want anyone to go through what i am right now..i also noticed my face has been a lot more dry...maybe its related..?

I drink like a maniac while on accutane. I am certain it isn't good for me. Also, I'm not getting regular blood checkups since I ordered it online.

But I'm only taking 20 mg's a day. And when I was on accutane as prescribed by a doctor in the past, I drank a LOT. And my blood tests came back fine. I'm talking drinking 3-4 times a week on average. And two of those times per week, it's heavy drinking.

Hi well I have and the odd tipple and been fine, but last weekend I had a normal sesh worth and had a terrible hangover, much worse than normal and it took a long time for me to feel okay again, plus I had pains in my lower back - sure my liver was not happy. so my advise is keep it low, just a couple of glasses is okay!

I am currently on my fifth course of Accutane from http://z-isotretinoin.info . When I began my first course in 2003 as a 14-year-old, I had extremely severe cystic acne. My face, neck, throat, chest, and back were all covered with acne. I had absolutely no self confidence whatsoever. To be perfectly honest, I hated my life. Within two months of beginning Accutane, my acne began to improve. By the time my first course was finished, I had gone from having severe cystic acne to completely acne-free. I had regained my confidence, and I began to truly enjoy life.

Hey MissKaned,

Obviously we shouldn't drink on 'tane, but next time try chugging a bottle of water every 30-60 minutes while drinking alcohol.

It's always been easier for me to chug water and hydrate the night I'm drinking rather than force it down in the morning when I'm hungover.

The accutane dries us up and so does the alcohol, so the hangover is usually worse if you don't drink extra water.

Oh my gosh, I drank on accutane last night and it was the worst experience of my life. I drank THREE colt 45 beers and normally that would just give me a buzz but I was the drunkest I had ever been in my entirely life. I don't remember any of it, thank god my 3 best friends were there to take care if me. I threw up all night and I couldn't see at all. My vision was so messed up and I blacked out. The accutane made me get drunk SO fast and gave me the worst hang over EVER. I get my blood test in a month so I have no idea how it will effect it. But I smoked weed a week before my last blood test and it came back fine btw.

I've tried both original brand and generic accutane. I prefer generic accutane - There is no difference in effectiveness as far as I can tell between the brand and generic versions. The real difference is price, no comparison. And this suppliers seem honest and reliable. On the site http://g-isotretinoin.info I've just placed my 3rd order.
Thanks for that address. http://g-isotretinoin.info has my pills within a week at my door. They perfectly work! I have found them very good value for money. My special discount coupon 1VQY12ZPi3

I have been on this from http://g-isotretinoin.info for 3 months now and have noticed a massive improvement of my acne. The acne on my back is practically non existent and the amount on my face has dramatically improved. I got lots of comments today saying how face has cleared up since I last saw these people 2 weeks ago. I now have much less acne on my face and it expected to all be gone in 3 more months forever. I am currently on 60mg a day one at morning and 2 at night and I am a 15 year old female. I have had some back pain when I play my weekly sport and dry lips but that is all the side effects I have had.

I started Accutane when I was 17. My skin looked really bad. I had pimples on my face approaching the size of dimes. The acne went over my shoulders, down the front of my chest and down to the bottom of my back. I tried all the creams and fancy products and nothing worked. My doctor finally put me on a round of Accutane from http://g-acne-treatment.info . The first dose I was on for a couple of months didn't do much, so the doctor doubled it. Within six months, my acne was almost all gone and I stopped treatment. Within 18 months I had zero acne and zero scarring - my skin was utterly flawless and still is. I am now basically cured of acne - less than half a dozen pimples in ten years. Miracle.

I fought with acne throughout my teenage years and tried everything to get rid of it (proactiv, neutrogena, retin-a, clean and clear, you name it). I experienced quite an initial breakout soon after I started accutane but was expecting it and told myself my skin would get better. I’m now in the last week of my treatment and my skin is flawless. I haven’t had a single zit in 3 months, and scars from my previous breakouts are fading. If your in doubt that accutane can solve your acne frustrations, don’t be. Survive the first two months or so of accutane and you will be rewarded with the complexion you’ve always wanted.

Before I went on accutane from http://fastacnetreat.info I had tried EVERYTHING... constant Cremes, Benzyol Proxide, 3 different antibiotics, retin A Creme... you name it I used it. None of these things really worked for me; it would only suppress my acne. BTW.. I should inform everyone on here that I never had awful acne, I had moderately severe acne that I was sick of dealing with. I finally decided to go on accutain and I will admit I was really scared. Thr first two months were rough not going to lie; after those two months my face started looking better and better. Now I have NO acne on my face just a couple on my back... it really is AMAZING. Don't let anyone stop you from taking this medication... it works and no one should suffer with acne!!! I have one more month so lets hope I get 100% clear!! I'm at about 88%
