Accutane and other acne medications together?

is it safe to use other medications with accutane for acne? like could i use clearasil or retin-a? i am wondering because not using these and only using accutane im finding myself breaking out more.

Looks like the products on that site are a cream with 5% benzoyl peroxide, and a B/C/E vitamin pill.

Only accutane had a profound effect on my acne.

My derm told me stop using all other medications.
Obviously, do NOT take any other pills while on Accutane, but I would expect Clearasil to be fine. Are you talking about the face wash or the cream? I'm not sure if the cream would have any effect on your current acne, since the Accutane will over power any cream you put on your skin. I'm not familiar with retin-a. If it is a vitamin A derivative, do not take it. You are supposed to not ingest vitamin A while on Accutane. I sometimes use Sulfacet, but all it does is dry me out.

But after that it reduces significantly and it'll be ok. Dryness around the mouth also happenes to me and it's peeling like crazy. Lips, nose also get severely dry, i just use some moisturiser.
