Accutane Experience

[Acne]

I have been on accutane for 1.5 weeks. I am on 20mg per day taken once a day for this 1st month (I am 26 years old)- I have experienced headaches, chapped lips, sun light sensitivity, dry eyes, cyst and break out on my chin, and back ache. My symptoms started 5 days into taking it. My acne is mild - but consistant - I got tired of using the topical treatments - so I began Accutane. I hope that I do not regret takng this powerful medicine. I am using Clear Eye drops for dry eyes in my eyes; Dr. Dan's CortiBalm for my lips (very good - you can get it online) I coat them constantly; La Therapie Day and Night Creams (expensive - but they hydrate great); Clean and Clear Gentle Cleanser; one 400IU Vitamin E capsule Daily; Aveeno Dry Skin Body Lotion; and Dove Leave in Conditioner Hair Serum (for my hair so it doesn't get dry). I am using alot of stuff - but I am so paranoid about this drug - I hope it doesn't make matters worse now or later in life (and I am not just talking about the acne). If anyone has any advice, suggestions, wisdom, support, anything to say - I am listening. I would also appreciate any stories and expereices that you might have to share. I am also interesed in people that are finsihed taking it -and how they felt after - like did the sympotoms go away and were you back to your normal self? Did your acne go away? How long were you on it? What was you course like?

I understand your concerns but why don't you take an hour or two and read through all the postings, instead of cluttering the forum with general question you decided to post 3 times.
