I didn't experience any hair loss either, but my face is constantly red. I'm 3 weeks off tane, lips and skin dryness is back to normal already. I took a very high dosage so i have major skin fragility and improper wound healing. I recommend anyone takin this drug to do a lower dose for an extended period of time as to minimize the more damaging side effects that higher doses cause.
I know your post is way old, but my oldest son had a problem with his face constantly being flushed. He never was on accutane, minocycline worked for him. He went for laser treatments - I think he had five and now he only flushes when circumstances warrant.

For everyone with hot/red faces after Accutane - what kind of facewash are you using? When I started Accutane, the nurse told me to only use Cetaphil or else my face would be as red as a beet. Make sure you're not using anything other than a mild cleanser like Cetaphil.

I did two rounds of Accutane in a row, starting at age 13. I experienced ALL the symptoms - hair loss, severe back pain, dry/cracked lips, and delicate/thin skin. I am now 24 and can assure you, the side-effects, over time, will fade and eventually disappear. It won't happen overnight and you'll continually nit-pick over the changes you've experienced, but you will find your skin gets better, your back won't hurt, your lips will heal and finally your hair will grow back.

You can try to drink lots of water and add in extra fiber. Lots of people have experinced constipation it can dry up your intestines/colon.....Amongst it also causing other intestinal problems more serious ones.

good luck

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Sagittarius

Slow down! You're trying to do too much and it's driving you - and everyone else - up the wall. What's more, if you're in too much of a hurry you'll start to become accident-prone and that will make you even more het up. Try to take any setbacks or domestic mishaps in your stride, otherwise you'll end the day feeling like a nervous wreck.
