My oldest son took minocycline. (It's my youngest on accutane.) The mino seemed to make his face red as well. He got five laser treatments over a course of 5 months and now his face is normal. I'd have to ask the laser person exactly what it was called, but I'm sure you can find out from any dermaspa.

IF YOU USE ROACCUTANE IT IS LIKE PLAYING RUSSIAN ROULETTE
you might be one of the lucky ones or you could turn out to be one of the unlucky ones. if you are unlucky than your mentality will change for the rest of your life, you will become a negative person, you will enjoy nothing and it will certainly make you depressed
looking back, id rather be depressed about my pimples instead of life itself because life is everything or should i say nothing?
the doctor put me on roaccutane at 15 years old, i went from being the class clown, a happy person to being a depressed, confused person, i lost my character and my nature...EVERYONE was telling me i have changed between the age of 15-17 years old
but anyway i cbf going on
GOOD LUCK!!!
p.s. if i ever come across one of the makers of roche, i guaranty id be willing to kill him/her, not because of the damage that this drug did to me but because they wont admit the drug can be unsafe (because they are greedy fucks!!!) AND they keep selling the drug, thus meaning they are willing to ruin more peoples lives to keep making their money. if they are willing to ruin my life and the next persons life than i am willing to even things out
lol u actually went through puberty and grew up a lil dumbass....ur personality changed not bc accutane

I would like you to show proof that Accutane doesn't cause changes in the brain. You can't cause it has already been proven...There's been more then just teenagers affected by this poison.
hope nothing horrible happens to you while you take a chemo drug that helps people with brain cancer for acne.

Hey guys, should i try accutane? im 21 yr old male. I didnt start breaking out untill about 17. Last fall my face got really bad with cysts and all kinds of shit i never really delt with before. My back and chest really got it bad too with cycst etc... For some reason now my face is pretty mild although some scarring, its not getting better though. My back is still breaking out really bad with large pimples half inch to inch size. It really hurts and the bleed and puss quite often. I have an appt with a Derm. in a week and dont know if i should take accutane. I want my back and chest to clear up bcuz the scarring is already really bad and its just gonna get worse. Any advice? I also noticed a trend that females are getting side effects more so and seems not to work as well for them anyone else notice that any info would help thanks..

Has anyone had, or heard of anyone who experienced, hair loss while taking tane or after they discontinued treatments?
Yes alot of hairs loss for me, it's now over one year and the only way it stopped was when i started to take a hair viatmin called shin min which i purchased at GNC along with two cod liver oil tablets taken twice daily. Trust me it works.

i feel really alone and worried at the moment.
been on raoccutane for the last three months (20mg in the first month and 40mg for the last two).
initially my acne was just on my forehead and chin (and more skin-coloured lumps) than actual flare-ups, though they did sometimes appear too.

now, my skin is a mess. no improvement - constantly worse. still have all the lumps, and flare-ups everywhere- especially on my cheeks and side of face, which used to be perfect.

i'm finding im scarring alot easier too.
i don't know whether there is any sense in continuing it, it's just ruined my face to the point where i feel so ashamed.

has anyone experienced this?
any advice?

yes it's called an initial breakout. i didn't really get one on my first round of accutane, but I'm on my second, and I'm getting a bad one. Just hang in there, it will pay off. I know it sucks but it will get SO MUCH BETTER. I'm getting it in places I didn't use to and much worse than I used to, but I know from my first round that it works.

Im on my 12th day of accutane or actually claravis but same thing. My face is slightly red and im just now starting to wonder if accutane is the right way to go. I dont want to burn in the sun after 10 mi, or have shitty skin the rest of my life. For those who are off of it, is it worth it?

I found this other natural acne med called vilantae. It has no side effects and is 100% natural. i checked to see what people said about it and it seems to be mixed... like accutane. Has anyone tried this?
