I personally believe that accutane is a wonder drug. From the ages of twenty-four to twenty-eight, I suffered from nasty acne that was so disfiguring. Nothing worked to calm or clear this hellish skin disease. Thank God, accutane to the rescue. The side effects I encountered were worth every moment of having clear skin. I am now forty-three years old, acne free, scar free and wrinkle free.
And I guess the most important issue....I am not plagued with any negative conditions associated with accutane. I took accutane for six months and sixty mg per day.

Hey there Donavan - I'm a 27 yr old male into my 5th week of tane (60mg/day). I was wondering if you had to give blood monthly and if you ever had any problems with your triglycerides. I might have to cut back on my steak :(

Hi Guy, It was mandatory to have my blood checked monthly.
I never had any problems with my triglycerides. I will say, I was pretty reckless when it came to my alcohol consumption. Fortunately...my liver functions were normal. As I mentioned, I was your age when I started Accutane and the guide lines for this drug were pretty loose.

Hey thanks for the reply...I'm pretty bumed now. My blood test showed that my tri's were too high and had to stop the tane just into my second month (prob just after initial break-out). I too drank Insane amounts of alcohol especially a few yrs ago but not near as much now.(I Used to be in the Infantry). Question is how active would you say you were while on the Tane. Any special efforts to keep levels low? Did the Doc ever mention Lipid levels, Diet, exercise etc. I've read quite a bit so far but it's always nice to hear straight from a Veteran if you will.

Guy, so sorry to hear about your test results. I never had any set backs with my blood test. I was an avid runner.(eight miles a day) but as I said ......I was also consuming maybe four glasses of chardonnay a day and my liver functions were always normal. I honestly believe it is all in your DNA.

Guys, I bought accutane from http://isotretinoin.co.uk . I've been on accutane for about a month and half now. I also broke out really badly during like the first two weeks. But after that it reduces significantly and it'll be ok. Dryness around the mouth also happenes to me and it's peeling like crazy. Lips, nose also get severely dry, i just use some moisturiser. Drink a lot of water.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
