Hi, I have been using Oratane for two months now and it has worked amazingly. Unfortunately it won't remove the scarring maybe you need a different product for that. It has removed a lot of spots I had. And my lips are the worst they are so dry I can't even open my mouth LOL.:)

I wish I knew when it will stop getting worse because it's really taking a toll. Does anyone know what's the ratio or link between tthe pills to your weight? Buddy, i feel the same. Im probably 2 weeks in and my acnes is same/little bit worse (as indicated by my doctor that this would happen). It takes time, it takes time, i dont like going out either as your self esteem is rock bottom but you can only hope. For those of you that said you have dry faces you should use oil free moisturisers, neutrogena, nivea, etc cheap supermarket ones work and i think this will avoid scarring. All the best guys stick in there

Hi there!
I have used Oratane for 2 weeks now. It is amazing, I already see the difference in my skin, it's drying out the acne, no more additional acne coming out. My lips are dry, and my skin is sun sensitive, but hey! my skin is looking so much better, and the oiliness is almost gone! It makes me eat a little more than usual, but I try to limit myself with the increased appetite!
I am just glad that my skin is looking beautiful!

I have been on Oratane for 2 months now, i couldn't stop sqeezing and peeling my skin so it got worse an worse.I only learnt now that im not supposed to touch it. My sister told me that it is getting better but I myself am depressed. People keep on asking what is going on with my face, its as if im trying to lighten it up becoz its not even. My dermatologist prescribed a Differin cream and a paste for the black spots that covered my face. Someone please tell me im going to be okay, this is traumatising

Don't worry, it's going to get better, for sure. During the first month I looked like I had some sort of V.D. because of the extreme dryness/mutant-pimples around my mouth. Now I'm on my 4th month and all that's left is a single tiny pimple in my face. As for the side effects... well, my articulations hurt (it's called artralgia) and I'm sun-sensitive, but believe me, it's worth it.
By the way, I'm not really sure about this but as far as my face ir concerned... swimming in the mornings (really early) helps whitening my face and keeping it clean.
And that dryness issue, well a lot of people recommends neutrogena so that would be a good choice, as for me, I use a 30fps gel sunblocker (eclipsol).
Good luck and be patient

I'm on oratane for about a month now, hate myself so much. It's been non stop break outs, so painful n annoying. I had accutane before n my skin was great so it's very hard for me to face acne again. I even have suicide thoughts cuz if my bf see me like this, he will dumb me. btw, my doctor said i need to take it for 4 months, but i wanna take it longer.I dun even wanna go to school.

It's my first day on Oratane and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The only downside is that I have a really really big event with lots of parties and great people in a week and I can't afford to be red and swollen! I cannot imagine gaining 10kg (you guys are freaking me out!) as I have psoriasis and exercising and sweating makes me itchy.. I will have to see the dermatologist over and over again for my unfortunate skin and hell, its bloody expensive.
