Man arrested in sex for pills case

By Brad Hicks / Staff Writer A Keavy man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly providing prescription pills to women in return for sexual favors.

If it is illegal to buy the oxys then isn't it illegal to perform sexual favors in exchange for the same pills?

I think that this is ridiculous if these women were all adults and were most likely looking for the pills anyway then it seems to me that all parties are guilty.

Not condoning what this man did just wondering why none of these women came forward before? Because they did not want their supply to be interrupted I guess.

Are you a person that does the same as this COBB guy, you sure are defending him. O wait, does he supply you with drugs too. Men did the same for him with drugs, but none of them would come foward because they were ashamed, but @ least a woman has.

I have never taken a pain pill in my life that was not prescribed to me. I am also not from this area originally,additionally I am over the age of 13 so I will not continue an argument over this subject.
Suffice it to say that I agree that there is a this man broke a law by distributing pain meds prescribed to him to others yet I just do not see these people as victims so much.

good luck on your conviction u want so bad the only witnesses are drug addicts...this man must not be to bad one court gave him custody of a baby girl that was a product of an affair...now that that happen she got her friends that he had slept with in the past to write statements on this matter...an let it be known that she will not get her baby back she is a crack head..they only wrote statements to get a break from their own charges,,,or were threaten by police..learn the facts

It is convenient that this woman has someone else to blame for her drug problems. Taking no responsibility ensures that this woman will never receives any help for HER problem and will continue to purchase drugs and seek other people to allow her to "trade" for her pills.

that is what they have done here...but they got a surprise today when mr. cobb's attorney made richard darylmrpl look so stupid they refused to call brad as a witness even though he was scheduled to be..and about those crackheads signing a statement and letting them off. the 2 detectives mentioned went to one of the womens' house that had an active warrant for her arrest and they didnt even arrest her they just took her statement and left....when asked why today he said it was late on friday and didnt want to deal with it......keep up the good work....no wonder ky. has a drug problem with practices like this

well, i hear he did not get bond. thats great, I hope he gets life!!!!! daughter robbed rite aid in london months back, son shot and killed man(drugs) still in jail, now daddy there too. just goes to show, he doesn't deserve to be a daddy..

Didn't this cobb guy rape a girl and made his son take blame for it? YES he did!!!! he had to leave grant county ky because of drug dealing, and 3rd degree asult so he came to keavy.. DONT want him here..I am glad the police and DEA are onto this man.. WAY to to DEA!!
