Some points to ponder in considering Obamacare

Full story: Cape Cod Times

Which outstanding government-run program is Obamacare's model: Amtrak, Fannie Mae, airport security, postal service, public education? Why did the Department of Veterans Affairs reject my prescription for Toprol XL while an evil, greedy, private insurance company provided 17 refills without question? If Obamacare's "public option" is superior to ...

It is not only the VA but insurance companies also insist patients take generic medications. It is not limited to the VA. The only way a patient can get branded medications is if they have failed, or are intolerant, or have side effects with the generic. This requires a trial of 180 days(or some arbritatry time limit)..on the generic. Unfortunatally, this is a nation-wide(greed) problem. Some generic are good. But, when treating patients with chronic illness ie epilespy, not so much. Varations(not all created equal)in generics can cause siezure free people to have siezures. It just isn't right.....

You can also apply to the "AstraZeneca and Me" drug prescription program (just Google the name). Depending on your income, you may qualify for free medications directly from them, including Toprol XL. I just found out about the program, and it's easy to apply. Astra Zeneca WANTS people to take their branded drugs. I hope this helps.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Capricorn

A certain person is strong-willed with the Full Moon in your emotional house of others. It's a lunar eclipse too, so this could lead to some ructions in which everyone becomes firmly entrenched in their own opinions and refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view. Get the arguments out of the way early on, so you can then concentrate on having a really enjoyable New Year's Eve.
