NEWS FLASH!!!!

Our estate atty just called. They just received, via FedEx, our final check from Seeger Weiss!! What a relief.

Jerome - I have a question. I just spoke with SW in NY and was told they are sending "like 4 checks" "out today" and then going alphabetically. What is the first letter of your estate's last name?
I was then told that I am at the end(of the alphabet ) and must wait 2 weeks -

If any one else hears from SW "PLEASE post a BLOG".

We're among the first 7 letters (big hint) of the alphabet. I think if you bug them enough-that 2 weeks might turn into tomorrow!! Good luck.

my check got set to the estate, but it was made out in the wrong name!!!!!! so they had to send it back to the attorney, and hopefully it will be re-issued soon.

FedEx just delivered my final payment...all calculations are correct...my law firm was The Gallagher Law Firm in Houston Texas. This firm is extremely good, although not very forthcoming with info through this process. They do dot all their i's and cross all their t's, and seem to know correct law procedures. They were very fair on the costs incurred for expert witnesses and office costs.

Thank you all for the good information and the feeling of having support through this. I sincerely hope and pray that all of you get a resolution soon, and that you and yours are in good health, now.....

I had Gallager too, and got my 2nd check this morning.$1700 expenses, 1% MDL , NO freakin' LRP, because I refused to sign that robbery document. The finality is coming folk's , just hang in there. Good luck to all. Live long and prosper.

Well I heard back from my lawyer "SOON" I wish I could make the money they do with just one word "SOON". My lawyers give me no explantion about any thing,I have to guess or try to figure it out for my self. I think a call to the Judge is on my list first thing in the morning.

ive got ,vioxx lidagation consortium , and really haven't heard anything BUT when i do what would be the norm or fair $$$$$ amount for expenses 1700 doe's sound very much to high . what's the amount some of the other firms are charging so we all get info to to keep it down to a fair expense price for both sides ???

i finally got my final check last thursday i had to go to the office and demand it they made me wait all day and got pissed off but i dont care i have it now my atty was clark and perdue good luck all i will stick around until you all get yours stay on them they have had this money for over a month now and full of excuses and lies when they seen i was not leaving they decided to pay me they was pissed about it but i dont care i was not in it to be there friends take care and good luck all

Jack....my breakdown was $167 for office expense,$1,605 for expert witness cost....seems right...I know my law firm hired a reputable cardiac doctor to review each case, and I don't think my firm had a large amount of clients...
