Unfortunately he didn't write it in the file. He put it on the "Sample Sign Out Log" which was destroyed. Thank goodness you have a good doctor who did note everything. The only notation in my file is that call from me in April 2001 asking if it was okay to continue taking the vioxx!!! I didn't mention it at the hospital - I thought it was just a potent tylenol!!!

Booboo - you are saying that your Dr. gave you samples - enough for 4 months 2/day??? That is not samples . My doctor never gave me more tha 2 weeks ofd any sample. from Jan 3 to April x2= about 200 pills. FREE? when my RX cost over $100 for 30..... can I have his name?? Did he treat Michael Jackson also???

I do not mean to be mean----it is a court orderedlegal settlement based on verifying medical records.

also - I bought a lotto ticket last week with all the winning numbers on it.... I lost it -but went in to the store claim the prize///// They did not pay me- how come?

My doctor just put me back on Vytorin for cholesterol and gave me a 10 week supply to ease the financial pain. Those samples were worth $185 to me.

Has anyone decided when the next progress review
will be with Judge Fallon. Some question as to the exact date.

I saw him on Jan 3 and again later that month for a follow-up. And yes, he supplied me with samples for that entire time from Jan 3, late January to April. He was "generous". I had sample packets and also a pill bottle. He always said that they were expensive to buy and he handed the samples out like candy.

No reason to be nasty.....

Johnnie36, from what I can tell the date is July 31st. Be careful with the vytorin, I had to quit taking them because I hurt so bad from waist down, could hardly walk. Within 2 weeks of being taken off no more pain.
Booboo don't worry all doctors are different when giving out samples. And most prescriptions now are for 90 day supply which works out just about right for the samples you got.

Paula, thanks for the heads up on Vytorin. I took it for two years prior to the change 1-1-09. The only reason I changed was to see if a generic (simvastatin) would do just as good. I didn't so my doc wanted me to go back to Vytorin. But, I'll keep a watch for any unusual pain. Don't remember that from the prior usage.

His office # and fax # is on the Judge Fallon page. Minimum, you talk to his clerks

we have passed gates for MI and IS ( I think) back in Feb. Still do not have points. Our paper work say IS and MI. All it said was we will receive an award. I'm thinking maybe they are looking at both at the same time.

Talked to my attorney on Friday ... All "Stroke" cases are to be put on hold until all "Heart Attack" & "Sudden Death" cases are completed by "Brown & Greer", by September 9, 2009 ... Craft: When you find out on the award please let us know. On Thursday last week my father was notified that he won his appeal on both MI/IS. I'm not clear on how it is going to work.

"asmoe", I know my first one went to the attorney the 27th of the month, as usual it's alway the end of the month, and if yours goes to your attorney at the end of July, then you should have it the forst week in August, but it depends on how long they want to play cat and mouse, and lots of vacations in July and August for some reason. Must be a B/G and attorney thing. They would never work a 24/7 shift, they don't have to. Only underpaid ,not appreciated, hardworking, McDonalds workers do that, and can you imagine if an attorney drove up to the window for his coffee and had to sit only 5 minutes, what a fit of rage he would be in? And yet they expect smiling faces at these places. God bless the hardworking, screwed people of the world,

Still no news to report......seems like we are all stuck in the same boat and nobody gave us a paddle........are we ever gonna get there??? Kinda like a kid that keeps repeating are we there yet.........maybe one day we can say, "WE MADE IT!!!!!"

Checks should go out around the 23rd- call BG and ask them- Most lawyers take about 2 weeks to get them to you. They have to prepare send you a recap statement to be signed first.
they could do that now but they wait and hold the money... good luck.
