Methadone clinic could cause problems

i am just like you, i had never heard of subtex or suboxone when i started the clinic. i had never taken methadone when i started the clinic either. i didn't know anything about any of the detox drugs. all i knew about was the pain medication, and that is what i was addicted to. if i had knew about the other medication available, maybe i wouldn't be on methadone right now, but the fact of it is that i didn't know of any other medicine, and i have tried every other options that i had available, and nothing worked for me. the clinic was a GOD send, and i have been happy with my results thus far. i am like you in that i wouldn't recommend the clinic to someone that has only been an addict for a couple of years, but for someone who has been in my situation, addicted for 10 years, i would. i don't think it is something that young people should try either, unless they have exhausted all other options, and nothing else has worked. i have never thought that methadone should be anyones first choice. i think methadone should be someone last resort, only if all else have failed.

(HEY)I'm not going to agrue with you.I don't want to hurt you I just want to give you some INFO.First what is a addict?A addict is whole life centered in drug's one form or anouther The getting and using and ways to get more.Simply but a addict is a man or women who's life is controled by drug's
Until you know what you are and what you are capaple of you don't have a chance!When you say that you are a addict that mean's that in one form or anouther drug's have controled you're whole life.Alright now I"m a addict you are a addict we may not have done what some people have done but by Idenfing you're self as addcit we have alot more in coman then you think!!
Until you become open minded and relise that you are just a garden verity junkie nothing more nothing less then you can't learn anything eles.You are no dif then me or any other addict we have hurt everyone we have came into contact with in one form or another.weather it be by example are emotionaly or phsicaly.Think about it you hurt the bank when you over drawed ,you have hurt you're family by taking money from them,you have hurt people when you drove down the road high on drug's,Maybe you had hash word's with the casher at the store I could go on and one.
I will get to the point until you find out why you used and understand who and what you are you can;t recover.So what do you do?Go to a N/A meeting or somewere and get a basic text and read it maybe even go to some meeting's it's wierd at first but you will get used to it.
There is so much that you don't know about being a addict that you can learn.I went to N/A to get off of drug's THe drug's wasn't my proplem I was my problem.They taught me how to live not only get free of drug's but why I used the people that I've hurt and how to live life on lifes terms without useing drug's

whats to addict?? are u crazy...have u never seen what this thing can do?? you are obviously on this thing because u dont know wat the heck is going on..just keep it shut if u dont know wats going on

I agree, Any medication used to mask not cure the "why I take it",(pain/addiction) is a loss cause. Using pain as an excuse to having an addiction is no different than a heroin addict using it to get off, an addict has accepted this, unlike the pain user..Bottom line, it's an addictive drug used to mask and replace body's real mechanism and therefore would mean having physical, mental dependence to this magic pill. Strength comes from within not out-in....Good Luck to all enslaved.

I'll say what I said on the other methadone clinic post. If someone really wants to be rehabilitated, they will take the initiative and mellow out with a case of beer and an H/O of green, and quit all the other shit. Methadone is THE most addictive substance known to man, second is nicotine. It is just a way for pharmaceutical companies to provide people with a better drug, and take the business from the street dealers.

Very true, and remember big pharma pays taxes to the government, street dealers pay it to the mafia. Two powerful regulatory bodies in competition with one another and the question is who will win this war?

agreed. but i would have to say nicotine is the most addictive but meth. is very close...but thats just my opinion
