I hope Emma runs for President some day. I would vote for her. She has more guts and charcter than anyone I've seen for a long long time.

I enjoyed reading your story and have a daughter that also has diabetes. She just turned 8 and we discovered it also in her second grade year just six months ago. She just got on the pump which takes the stress and edge of the injections.

I just want to congratulate you for your wonderful actitude, and it is very clear that your parents did a good job. My son Erik,15 years old, got diabetes when he was 6;my wife,my son and I, we know by experience the "world of the diabetes. Im sure your short story is going to encorage many kids. Both of your parents has to be proud of you.
