Playing trumpet in Santa Cruz High's award-winning band is just one of Emma Kleck’s myriad endeavors Emma Kleck began taking violin and ballet at the age of 4; now 16 and a Santa Cruz High School junior, she's active in numerous school and music-related activities while maintaining a 3.9 GPA.

I enjoyed reading your story and have a daughter that also has diabetes. She just turned 8 and we discovered it also in her second grade year just six months ago. She just got on the pump which takes the stress and edge of the injections.
