We are re molding a old building in Newport Ky.Wheh we tore down a wall we found.Crates of Whisky burbon, champagne and other types of liquer.Including cuttysark, something that begins with Der I think it is a malt scotch.I am talking 100 cases packed in straw.I think
the place was a speak easy in the thirties.I have no idea what it is worth or what to do with them. Please someone contact me with some info.Like what is a 70 year old bottle of cuttysark is worth. If I can find someone with knowlage about old licquer I will make a deal I don't know maybe 25% to help get rid of it.If not It's going down the vdrain I don't drink and I will be damed if I will let some thief like pawn stars rip me off.If I can find someone that knows about this stuff I will do a inventory and send it to them some champagne is from the 1800s.

Would love to know what happened with this.

We found an old bottle of whiskey in an outhouse and took it to an auction house who valued it at 350.00, I sold it independently for 1450.00

Holy Cow! That is amazing. Unfortunately I am not the expert you are looking for, Rocky, but this is astonishing nevertheless. I bet you have some very valuable stuff there! Cutty Sark only started in the 1920s so you may have some of the earliest bottles! I do have concerns for the champagne though - have the corks dried out? Storage conditions may have ruined them buy the whisky may still be good. I am only curious, did you find other items in the room as well, such as antique gambling devices? This is very interesting! Definitely make a photographic and film record of this. Stay away from Pawn Stars LOL, but you might make it on another History Channel or Travel Channel show!
