Watsonville native Matthew Jaime returns with Tequila Real de Mexico

Tequila Real de Mexico has more going for it than just an attractive bottle. It is produced using the blue agave of Jalisco's highlands, created by the hands of a Watsonville native whose tequila is now competing with some of the best around.

Nice to hear a success story about a Watsonville native. There are hundreds of stories like these from Watsonville residents. Unfortunately there are more negative stories and that's what the press usually reports.

The only thing wrong with Jalisco's is that they don't always serve the rice & beans on a hot plate.

I always forget to remind them - wish they'd just do it without being told.

Otherwise, it's a really nice place.

BTW - the piano sounded really good in there during the Ragtime Festival.

I am a customer and not a gang member.
My family and friends love to go to Jalisco's because Jalisco's is a really nice restaurant and the food is very good. I have never had a bad dinner or bad time there!

Tequilla is an acquired taste...your mileage may vary!

Ah, to each his own, but it sounds like you've been drinking the colored "stuff" they sell at Rite-Aid. Shopper's Corner has a good, reasonably priced selection..ask for help..and ask for a good "Anejo" Tequila (you can usually find several good picks for under $50.00). You will be forever enlightened.
