Can you tell me more about this cure? It seems like vinegar would make it worse, not better.

Yes I haven't had black tea for 4 days and have noticed a major improvement in my gastritis an acid forming condition. So I shall continue to avoid it. Best wishes Janette

If I have any tea at all it has to be decaf. Any other tea just upsets my stomach and can make me feel ill. Glad to read that I am not the only one. A teaspoon of bicarb in water seems to rebalance my ph.

Does this work better than medication like prilosec? Can you do this while using these types if meeds or instead of the medications?

Had a dr recently tell me not to drink apple cider vinegar however to drink aloe vera juice. Aloe Vera juice works. You can buy it just about anywhere and refridgerate it and it will last a very long time.

I drink a lot of tea.Normal tea and green tea in the evening. Hot tea seems to be the culprit.
I have just started on Ginger tea!

I don’t know about reflux. All I know is that I love tea and I’m glad I can brew some on my new coffee maker! I got it on sale here: http://capressocoffeemakerreviews.com/

I would imagine your evil debt collection practices would be the originating source for your acid reflux. Maybe try treating people better and breaking the law a little less and maybe it will get better.
I'm assuming you're mocking this person's profession b/c you've recieved calls from them/him before and you probably haven't paid your bills? Just thinking out loud..........deadbeat

I own a tea room and I have to say that I drink organic Rooibos tea with no ill effects at all. It is known to help digestive problems. It is soothing and has many good properties to it.
Try some! You can find it almost anywhere tea is sold. It might be listed also as red tea. Make sure it is organic and does not have any additives like lemon that could not help acid relux. Also, drinking water can be acidic.
I'm going to try the organic version of Mme Ramotswe's Rooibos and see whether it causes the same chronic gastric reflux as the organic green tea I've been drinking for 10 years.

Yes tea make it worst! I have been struggling with GERD now and I just noticed that every time I drink tea(including chamomile) my stomach might start to feel better but the lump feeling in my throat comes back.

Green tea is worst for acid reflux, try finding organic white tea and organic chamomile tea. I'm 17 years old and ive been on a strict diet and my reflux just got worst and worst after drinking black tea because it's too strong. So stay light and eat as healthy as you can. Don't relieve the symptoms , cure yourself. Meaning, don't keep eating or drinking what's causing your reflux or heart burn, stay away from those things

I've been drinking Redbush tea each morning for years...love it but for two days I've had none..I kept having heartburn day after day, living on mints and avoiding foods..like toast anything really..gives me heartburn..Looked on here to see if redbush tea gives you heartburn??? I've been two days with no painful heartburn..will not buy tea again rather go without. Must be Redbush tea causing heartburn..feels great to be in bed and not in pain..with that terrible burning.
