Kailua takes tea - Hawaii Features

Full story: Honolulu Star-Bulletin

I'm reminded of the perception of Kailua as a world away from Honolulu when talking about A Cup of Tea, a Victorian-style tearoom in Kailua.

$30 for a cuppa tea and some snacks? You gotta be kidding! This place is doomed.

This place is actually good...their soups and salad (dressing) is very good. It's a fun place to go and do something different while enjoying some good food and cute atmosphere. I've been there a couple of times already. Parking, however, is a little bit of a challenge with all of the businesses around there.

I'm tired of people who whine about parking. You have plenty of options.
(1) Lots of metered parking around the corner at the nearby city lot.
(2) Park for free at the large lot behind macy's/Longs and walk.
(3) Take bus 56 or 57 from town and walk 1 block.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Aries

The behaviour of somebody around you (most probably your partner or family member) may be rather irrational today. Alternatively, a surprise involving one of these people is possible. Try to keep your domestic plans reasonably flexible to cover all possible outcomes. The focus is on improving your relationship with your partner or with friends today. Any outings should go very smoothly.
