I just ordered the same tea today. However I am confused as to if I will be receiving the Okinawantea "slimming" tea or the
Okinawantea "clarifing" tea. I got the website off a med form I read EVERYDAY about weight loss. From what I understand this tea is great for weight loss and clearing up acne. I want to lose weight and my 13 yr old daughter is trying EVERYTHING to rid her acne. Either way I hope to post back in a few weeks with my results.

Most of this stuff is available at the grocery store or your local oriental market. That WuLong tea that Oprah has been touting is simply the same Ooolong ("Chinese Fortune")tea that Bigelow makes for about $2 for a box of 20 bags. Green tea with Jasmine is available in about any oriental market, Heck my favorite Chinese restaurant serves it free with your meal. Don't think there aren't any fat orientals out there. I've seen plenty, curiously, here in the states. Their great shape has more to do with a low-fat (primarily fish) diet and fibrous carbs like rice, broccoli, whole grains and low amounts of refined flour and sugar than with the tea they drink. They also get about an hour's worth of exercise a day or more. Green tea does contain some caffeine and some of these tea products actually have caffeine added to them which will speed up your metabolism but sorry to say, there is no magic bullet.

I've received my tea - relax! I've been using it for three days and have lost 3 lbs. I'm also tryign to lean out for a competition, so I've cut back a bit on carbs. Be sure to exercise and reduce your fats. This isn't going to be a miracle drug that will allow you to eat anything!

The ingredentsof the tea is green tea leaves with jasmine flowers, as Natalie wrote. I ordered it tonight after several attempts by clicking on PayPal. I will try it and report back.

Okinawan tea is simply green tea with Jasmine. Save your money and buy it at your local grocery store.

Not the tea....LOL

So what's the secret to health in Okinawa? Makoro Suzuki, M.D., Bradley Willcox, M.D., and D. Craig Willcox, Ph.D., set out to answer this very question in their book The Okinawa Program. They believe that much of the mystery is solved when you look at the extremely healthful diet of most Okinawans, which is rich in vegetables, fruit and whole grains - much like the USDA outlines for health here in America. Also in accordance with USDA guidelines, Okinawans eat moderate amounts of meat, eggs and other protein sources, and use sugar and fat only sparingly. Okinawans often get their protein from fish, high in omega-3 fatty acids for brain, cardiovascular, and immune system health. Though their diet is low in fat, Okinawans regularly incorporate sources of unsaturated fat such as canola oil and nuts.

Okinawans show very low levels of free-radical damage. They get an extra antioxidant boost from the daily enjoyment of green tea, with flavonoids shown to help prevent cancer, heart disease and stroke.

A positive attitude wouldn't hurt. No need to be such a b&*$h! It took almost two weeks to receive mine as well, but that's expected with any internet buys. Anyhow, I'm down several pounds, but I don't think it was the tea. I've cut calories and added minutes to my cardio. The tea tastes good, though.
