Hi All
has anyone been able to locate the new Seagram's 7 Dark Honey?? I had the chance to try it a few weeks ago in New York but I can not find anywhere to purchase. It was sooo smooth and perfect on the rocks and I want to have it for the upcoming holidays. Any help or suggestions where to buy in NYC or order online would be awesome thanks

cheers!

You knoow I haven't found it out here in AZ and I am very disappointed because a friend of mine introduced it to me out in St. Louis... I really hope it starts making it's rounds!

Hi! I've spotted Seagram's 7 Dark Honey in St. Louis. So yes, I've tried and been steadily buying bottles since, I love this stuff. I like drinking Dark Honey on the rocks with a squeeze of lime or as a Candy Corn shot: Dark Honey + vanilla vodka + butterscotch schnapps. Yum! I hope you get some in your area soon!

Seagram 7 contains 75% Neutral Spirits(aka Vodka)...wouldn't Wild Turkey Honey be a much better value, since it contains Straight Whisky...not Blended Whisky?

Note: All Blended whiskies contain a large percentage of Neutral Spirits and flavorings. IMO, they are a big rip off. When most Straight whiskies are less expensive than their vodka'd down cousins.

I am not a big liqeuer drinker but, thought the Wild Turkey Honey was quite tasty. It uses local honey from Lawrenceburg Kentucky.

Yes, my wife bought me a bottle of it at our local liquor store in North New Jersey. It is too syrupy and sweet for me. Best if mixed with something (which doesn't justify the price tag). It's okay straight, but as I said it is a bit too sweet for me. I will not be buying it again.

The Seagram's & Dark Honey is in Sioux Falls South Dakota. It looks good in my crystal shot glass, and is great strait, or with a little coke is nice too.

Crossroads Liquor in Shakopee, MN sells both Seagrams 7 Dark Honey ($13.79) and the Wild Turkey Honey ($19.99). Value-wise, Seagrams is a lot cheaper for similar alcohol-levels. Taste wise, again Seagrams wins. This stuff is flying off the shelves.

Segram's 7 Dark Honey just became available in the state operated liquor stores in Virginia within the last week or so. I bought two bottles on Christmas Eve for gifts and was able to sample one of them with the guy I gave it to. I like it better than Wild Turkey and it is priced more reasonable. Enjoy it when you can find it. Merry Christmas.

Texas is lucky enough to have Dark Honey - but I'm having a hard time finding in in bars. It's a nice winter change to Dark Honey and Seven over my old favorite "7&7."

Sorry to beat an old drum....but, Aaron...have you considered moving up to 100% whisky...from your favorite(7&7's)...25% whisky?

You will get much greater flavor concentration with a Straight whisky. Straight wishkies contain 100% whisky. Plus, they usually cost the same as the 25% types...called Blended whiskies.

Straight wiskies aren't for everyone...just thought I would inquire as to your prefs. I believe that Straights are usually a much greater value to the wallet.

Some of my favorite Straights are: Wild Turkey Rye 101, 1792 Ridgemont Reserve, Old Weller 107, Tom Moore Bottled in Bond and Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond. This list has tons of flavor and a solid proof point. Almost all of them can be found for about $20.

Just bought a bottle of Seagrams 7 Dark Honey in Eau Claire, WI at a Pick n Save. $8.99/750ml. Very good price, Wild Turkey American Honey is $26.47/750ml. I like the 7 as much as the Turkey. Very good on the rocks.

Have been drinking/buying Seagrams 7 Dark Honey here in Grand Forks, ND at Happy Harry's. Dark Honey is perfect with some cherry coke, diet coke, coke, or on the rocks! Tried it with 7-up too. All good combos! Go get some!

Spec's isn't allowed to ship items to customers. And, I don't believe that there is a Spec's in NYC.

Saw Seagrams 7 Dark Honey on the shelf in western New Jersey and was impressed with the look of the bottle....I thought 20.99 was a little pricey for such a small amount (750ml) but went ahead and bought it anyway...was vey impressed with the smooth taste, will buy it again if I can find it here in Binghamton, NY.
