Their prices are already high enough....go to McDonalds and get a better tasting coffee for less anyway! Starbucks sucks!

I can't figure out how these people stay in business even with their current prices .

I get sticker shock just walking by those places

I work for McD's and we love Starbucks! Because they set the market price point from their "aura" for the young. Let them raise prices. Ours will go up with them. McD's profits will go up and so will my stock. We don't have the fixed overhead they do.

I stopped going to Starbucks when they started letting people tote guns into their stores. I go to Panera or Mcdonald's or Dunkin' Donuts for my java fix.

Starbucks is using a brilliant strategy, raising prices when stock prices are falling.
This is almost like an administration trying to spend its way back into financial health!

Everyone's tastes are different, but if you prefer Panera or Mcdonald's or Dunkin' Donuts coffee over Starbucks, most likely you are not a true coffee connoisseur. Those of us that are and desire a superb cup of coffee or coffee drink will keep Starbucks in business. We'll just have to dip into our McD's heart attack on a bun fund to pay for the raise in price.

You have to be rich, have no taste buds or trying to be trendy to buy their over priced mud.
I know people at work who buy it three times a day while here.
I wonder if they are putting a little bit of an addictive drug in it to keep em coming back day after day.

Unlike the Fruit Cake from Littleton AKA Fake Cuban0uNo). He puts reefer plant juice and Meth in his before he posts his incoherent moronic posts here every morning.

Here's an article on the best tasting 'to go' cup and guess what - starbucks doesn't even hit the top - even though their price does!
