Maruti first auto firm in India to sell million cars in a year
New Delhi, April 1 : Indo-Japanese automobile giant Maruti Suzuki has become the first company in India to sell over a million passenger cars during a fiscal year, with as many as 1,018,365 vehicles rolling out of its showrooms during 2009-10. If Maruti Suzuki can sell well, it means India's middle income group continues to increase. But India can do even better. India's economy can do even better if she reforms the Industrial Disputes Act(IDA) to attract investors. It would be unwise to invest in a nation with IDA. Do you know that the IDA of India forces employers to keep employees on the payroll even if the private company is a loss-maker: the IDA prevents employers from firing employees. If you divide the world into nations with IDA and nations without IDA, then India is a nation with the notorious IDA. It is true to say that contract workers can be easily retrenched, but not all Indians are contract workers. For detailed explanation, please read below.
I wish to discuss the rights of the unemployed Indians in general, and also the unemployed female Indians in particular. India is shifting to manufacturing from agriculture. The electronics production line is a good place for women to work. All over the world, electronics assembly line work is just repetitive work, mostly done by females. It is easy work because it is repetitive work; and also very important work. Women can easily be trained to do repetitive work. You do not need a college education to do electronics assembly line work. Civil engineering construction work will employ mostly males and will not benefit females; and electronics production line work will employ mostly females, and will not benefit males. The IT sector is dominated by college and university educated persons. Every sector is different.
I am now discussing females. I am now discussing unskilled females. Electronics production assembly line work is labor intensive. This is the area where unskilled Indian females will be in high demand. But in the electronics manufacturing sector even unskilled labor can be easily trained and employed. It is just repetitive work, and yet very important work, in the electronics production line. Even an ex-farmer who can barely read and write can be easily trained to do repetitive work along the assembly line. The so called slumdogs of India can help to assemble electronics parts along the production line. India has an ample supply of unskilled labor. My heart is with the majority unskilled people of India, not the minority college and university educated Indians. This issue is about the EMPLOYED VS. UNEMPLOYED. This issue is about the Trade Unions vs. the unemployed. My heart is with the unemployed. My heart is with the unskilled. The Trade Unions of India are fascists. India's poverty is indeed self-induced. India's poverty is Trade Union induced. As a general rule the Trade Unions of India are fully supportive of the Industrial Disputes Act (IDA). It is the IDA and the Trade Unions of India that have kept Indian females in poverty. We don't want any fascists in India. We don't want any fascist Trade Unions in India.
Yes, there is plenty of civil engineering construction work going on, but they employ mostly males and so do not benefit females. If you are female, your target area would be electronics production line. Please read on and you will understand.

RIGHT TO RETRENCH.
This issue is about the EMPLOYED VS. UNEMPLOYED. The employed do not want employers to have the right to retrench. But the unemployed want the employers to have the right to retrench. If employers are not allowed to retrench, then employers will not be bold enough to hire new workers either. If the employed have rights, then the unemployed should have rights too. The Factories Act, Companies Act, and the Industrial Disputes Act need reforms. The government advocates inclusive growth. Well, why don't they include the rights of unemployed in the growth. Trade Unions and socialism usually go together. But under the current system, the Trade Unions have obtained job security and have kept the unemployed in abject poverty. The workers who are already employed try to prevent further employment by preventing employers from firing workers. If employers are prevented from firing redundant workers, then employers will not hire either. So, employment becomes the MONOPOLY OF A FEW who keep out the majority. Monopoly of a few is fascism, not socialism. The Trade Unions in India have evolved into fascists, not socialists. Thus, poverty in India is self-induced.
This issue is about the EMPLOYED VS. UNEMPLOYED. Diversity is the strength of India, not the weakness. For example, The Jains are well represented in the diamond market. The Christians have some of the better schools. The Sikhs are well represented as truck drivers and soldiers. Chennai may become the automobile manufacturing hub of India. Gujarat, as a state, has done well economically. This is the diversity of India; and the strength of India too. Unlike other states, Gujarat has reached a stage whereby she should be allowed to make her own labor laws. It would be unfair for the Union government to stifle the growth of Gujarat using the Industrial Dispute Act, which makes it difficult for employers to fire surplus workers. It is time for the Union government to allow Gujarat lawmakers to make their own labor laws based on their own realities.
We have to divide the world into nations that have Industrial Disputes Act and nations without the Industrial Disputes Act(IDA). One major difference between China and India is that in China and other nations, employers can fire surplus workers in order to continue to maintain a profit-margin. The whole of India may not be able to compete with China. But Gujarat may be able to compete with China. May the government of India give Gujarat the authority to make its own labor laws. May the government of India also wish Gujarat luck in its attempt to compete with China. Giving Gujarat greater control of her own labor laws should be India's gift to Gujarat. No self-respecting Indian should prevent Gujarat from competing with China. No self-respecting Indian should prevent Gujarat from having greater control over her own labor laws. The whole of India should gift to Gujarat the authority to make her own labor laws and ask her to go ahead and compete with China economically. A major difference between India and China is the labor laws. While in China employers can hire and fire workers; in India, employers can hire but will find it very hard to fire workers. Thus we have to use Gujarat to compete with China.

This brings us to the Indian investor. Undoubtedly, India's middle income group is growing. They have more disposable income today. Anybody who has studied economics will tell you that when there is an increase in disposable income, there would be an increase in savings and investments. And this brings us to the Indian investor. Why invest in India? India is a nation where employers are forced by the Industrial Disputes Act(IDA) to keep non-profit-making employees on the payroll, at all costs. There are only a little more than 1 billion Indians as against 6.5 billion on earth. There are many other nations outside India for the Indian investor to invest his hard earned money. There are many other nations without the notorious IDA. Think carefully if you are an Indian investor. Do you want to invest in a nation with the IDA or a nation without the IDA. Other nations continue to invite Indian investors. Other nations should invite Indian investors. It would be naive of other nations if they do not invite Indian investors. The Indian middle income group is increasing and other nations should note that and invite Indian investors to invest in nations without the IDA.
And this brings us to the Indian females. The Indian females are the future mothers, India's prized possession, the darlings of India. I am male and I love my mother. I have a dream. There are some Indian females who make a living cleaning toilets, scavenging, and doing other back breaking work. This is my dream. I want the female darlings to work in electronics production line. I want them to sit on a chair and assemble electronics parts. If all the women work in electronics assembly lines, it will cause a shortage of toilet cleaners in India. If there is a shortage of toilet cleaners in India, then the wages for toilet cleaners and night soil carriers will skyrocket. Males can then move in and do janitorial work; and get paid well too. You have to create a shortage; then wages will increase. But there is a condition. Women must support the right of employers to hire and fire. If women support the right to hire and fire, then more private corporations will set up electronics manufacturing plants in India. More electronics manufacturing plants in India will give the beloved Indian females more job options. The darlings of India deserve more options. The Industrial Disputes Act(IDA) prevents employers from firing employees; if employers are not allowed to fire, then they would be reluctant to hire too. I hope Indian females will support the right to hire and fire.
Furthermore, when there is a shortage of manpower, then MECHANIZATION can be introduced. But, firstly, there has to be a shortage of manpower. If most of the women work in electronics assembly lines, then there will be a shortage of manpower in other sectors. But there is a condition. Women must support the right of employers to hire and fire.

As a 15yr. old girl (this was 16yrs. ago) I started Accutane from http://goo.gl/NeYo6G . After the initial 30 days of my acne getting worse I started to notice that day by day the acne lessened and the pores on my face became smaller and I didn't have to constantly blot the oil off my face. I had some dryness but it was a small sacrifice to look in the mirror and not see these big ugly zits causing me to feel ugly and self conscious. I also started to look people in the eyes and not constantly worry that they were staring at the state of my skin, or to go outside in the bright light and have people thinking negative things about me. After 3 mos. my skin was beautiful, without a single blemish, and the pores shrunk back to normal. Although I had the dryness that everyone experiences, it was SO WORTH IT. People talk about depression as a side effect, but honestly I was so deliriously happy with the results that I can say I was never depressed for even one day. After 1 yr. of being off the drug I started to get a few pimples and went back to the dermatologist. She started me on a second course immediately. That was 17yrs. ago. My skin has been perfect and flawless ever since. I never get a breakout. I shudder to think how my life would have been if it wasn't for this wonder drug. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. It changed my life.
