I agree 100%. There are a ton of succesful restaurant operators in town, but seems like her group gets more press than anyone.

Have you BEEN too a lot of Columbus restuarants?
Liz and company deserve ALL THE PRAISE they receive, they have great food, and GREAT service at EACH establishment. That can't be said about others in this city!
yeah baby

Eight dollars for a sub? Better call the place "The Injury Room" and to claim "... diverse enough to attract everyone..." then obviously the name should be "The Perjury Room"

I eat out a lot (it keeps the wife very happy). Anyway, Liz's restaurants are decent, nice places to go for a casual dinner. However, there are better places in town that deserve at least half of free PR she gets from the Dispatch.

Didn't the Bogey Inn close already? Shame, lots of great memories there.

Lessner spends a lot of time making sure her restaurants get lots of press mentions. Few people mention how dark, dirty and depressing most of those restaurants are.

I agree there are lots of solid restaurant operators that are out there who aren't getting the same press. That's because they are hard at work, focusing on their business, and not worried about whether or not they get a writeup in the Dispatch.

Trowbridge and Lessner should open a restaurant together

I certainly wish liz the best of luck with the jury room and sincerely hope that the food is substantially better than the tip top. I have never had a good meal there and have given up on going there due to poor service and bad food.

Dead Horse,I have to disagree with you.Every Betty's family restaurant has it's own unique flair. There is nothing dark and depressing about any of her establishments. I'm sure if you were to see what each place is grossing a year, you would know she's very hard at work. Maybe if more restaurants thought outside the box and cared about letting the public know they exist, they could be just as successful. Stop being such a hater and focus on your own restaurant. Maybe if you didn't spend so much time bad mouthing other success's you would have time to create your own. It must suck having a mediocre sports bar. ;)

What is wrong with promoting your product? Getting out the news? Getting out the word? Helping grow a business? For heavens sakes she almost sounds like a hard working republican.

You speak as if you work for these restaurants, or own them. Thanks again for the shameless promotion!

With those prices, they'll be out of biz soon.

Should stick to 10 bucks and under fools.

Thanks for the remodel, I'll pick it up for 25 cents on the dollar next year and open a proper place and menu you idiots.

Lessner hasn't had any problems charging similar prices at her other bar downtown, Tip Top. There's lines out the door every day of the week. People pay for quality.
