Alcohol is recession proof

When consumers have less discretionary income per month, goods such as alcohol and tobacco are recession-resistant and perform well.

Good for you, did you ever see what happens to heavy drinkers when they don't drink for a couple of days? Convulsions and shaking, it is a horrible addiction.

I don't drink as much as I used to...Maybe alcohol isn't as recession resistant as first thought.

Tobacco on the other hand that truly is recession resistant lol

but as for me im never drinking alcohol or smoking tabacco becuse that is an addiction dont need a addiction

When they drink only on weekend and without making troubles(driving under influence or drinking too much etc.)it kinda normal I think.

When looked upon long term both alcohol and tobacco stocks are winners. MO and DEO are two of my recommendations.
