80 days in jail and he said he's sorry! People make mistakes! What happened to innocent until proven guilty!

So? He violated his probation. That's not making a mistake, that's being an azzhole and thinking you can do what you please without consequence. Maybe he'll learn not to be so selfish but I doubt it.

he admitted to the cemetary vandalism. this state prison sentence over a probation violation may be a little much. but if they send him to state for the vandalism i say he got what he deserves

That is exactly what the loser needs. Sent to the state pen where he can be with the other animals and out of the way of the productive members of society. He should be forced to do grueling physical labor every day. He is scum and should have to pay for all the damage he caused. Only problem the alcoholic druggie has no money.

i agree he should have to pay for damages caused by his poor decisions. this is called restitution and will be addressed during his sentencing hearing if convicted of the crime. however rehabilitation is what he needs, not hard labor. anyone who knows him knows he is just a kid that has made some imature decisions. he had a job good enough to allow him to purchase an old house and try to provide for his family. so he was not just sitting on his a$$ like most of your town. cut him a break

26 isn't a kid. other 26 year olds are college graduates or fighting for our county, not knocking up young girls and bragging about being on food stamps.

That loser is not a kid and did not make a mistake. He is adult who conducts himself as a criminal and should be treated as such. He has no value in regular society and we will all be better off with him behind bars. Tipping gravestones is cowardly. It only shows his true colors and how much of a man he's not. He is a career criminal that leaves a wake of misfortune in his path. It's obvious from looking at him and his choices he makes that he is swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool.

Yeah, I don't see any of those losers paying any restitution. Do you have any idea how many people in this county still owe restitution but the county doesn't do anything to enforce it? Hopefully someone keeps tabs on these losers and knows when they start working to inform the county so they can pay the restitution or else have their butts thrown back in jail.

They should have to work at that cemetery for $5 an hour until their part of the restitution is paid and the county should appoint someone to watch them either a constable or deputy and include their paid time in with the restitution owed.

I saw on one of the cemetery's signs that it is a nonprofit cemetery so I'm sure they can't afford to pay the caretaker to watch over these three imbeciles AND do his regular work. This was a heinous act and should not go unpunished! If these were the old days, they'd be tied to a tree, horsewhipped and still work the hours off!
