I'm a collector of american bourbon whiskey and am interested in older sealed bottles but I can tell you that many are not that valuble. I still purchase bottles that are 20+ years old in liquor stores for $10 and up.
If you might be interested in selling a bottle, feel free to contact me and pictures are great.

P.S. - There are still bottles in liquor stores that are 40 years and more. I saw one last week from 1972. It was $25. I may go back for that later but since it's been there for 37 years, i don't think I'm in any hurry.

Curious as to any answers you've gotten. A friend showed me a bottle a few days ago that he's had since the mid 50s. It's a light brown ceramic jug jug in a green plaid box labeled as 22 year old blended scotch. A cement contractor in central New Jersey, USA, bought pallets of Red Hackle blended scotch in the 50s to give as gifts.
