Lo mismo. Lo que pasa es que como en la isla donde se usa (mayormente) es fuera de San Juan, pues creía que era una invención.

Pero, veo que hasta principios del S. XX San Juan era donde mejor se hablaba español en la isla. Cien años después, creo que en la isla es donde mejor se ha preservado el español.
