President Barack Obama says passage of his health care proposals would create new jobs by making small business startups more affordable.

Why wouldn't there be a "a worse-than-expected loss of jobs" when absolutely nothing has been done to stop the loss?

There's been NO reduction in work visas.
There's been little to no crackdown on workforce enforcement, ensuring that only those eligible to work in this country are doing so.
Nothing has been done to close the loopholes that allow US companies to use gov't subsidies to ship jobs overseas.
There's been little to nothing to balance the trade deficit. Heck, the US gov't won't even stand firm on demanding US products for US economic recovery projects paid for by US taxpayers!

Is Washington, DC really so stupid that they think the US is infallible. That they can literally give away our country and it will remain strong?

And please don't forget, the government's unemployment figures ONLY reflect those drawing benefits. Once those benefits run out,(after about 26 weeks) people are dropped off the reporting -- AS IF THEY FOUND A JOB. This is why there are periodic upticks in the jobs outlook.

Hey we hear you loud and clear. Now it's time to stop living in the past. We can't go back a fix history. It's time to think about the present and the future and we can't spend our way out of this mess. This administration as got to reign in the wasteful spending, we simply can not afford it. Do you know Senator Kerry is trying to slip in 20 million dollars into a defense bill for a Kennedy archive project? What does this have to do with defense? Nothing!! It's just wasteful pork. It's got to stop! This trip to Denmark cost us millions. For what? So Obama could have a high for getting the olympics which would have costs the taxpayers billions that we don't have. Do say it would have made money because no olympics actually makes money. Its a fact they countries lose billions. London's already more than 4 billion in the red and they won't host until 2012.We simply can't afford these nice to haves right now. They need to start thinking and acting responsible. When the government controls pratically everything like.... Financial institutions, banks, car manufactures, healthcare, energy, media, etc....

No, I am far from being rich, in fact I struggle a bit however "social justice" is bull crap. I may not have much but I earned every bit of it myself with no help from anyone and I'm PROUD of what I have.

Your so called "social justice" takes the incentive away from wanting to better yourself, the incentive to encourage your children to strive to
become more successful than you. Why bother trying or working at all for that matter if the government is going to take care of all our needs and wants. Why would someone want to start a business and "employ" people if they don't get anything out of it.
