EIGHT years later...

THINK of all the $$ 800 BILLION wasted that could have been used for health care, medicare, education -take your pick. Whatever you fancy...

Not much debate on the FUNDING (taxes) for Afghanistan is there?

Hey newcomer, Clinton went in and wrapped up the Bulkan war, and broke up what was Yugoslavia. Furthermore he removed Kosovo out from under Serbian control and domination. Clinton was a great success.

For the past 8 years we've been blowing away billions on every Muslim warlord willing to shake our hand. And what have we accomplished?? Nothing!! We are told Iraq is stablizing but there are bombs blowing people to pieces every day. And the Turks are settling in Northern Iraq on the pretence of subduing Kurdish sepratists. It is the end of Iraq as a unified nation. And worse conditions prevail in Pakistan and in Afghanistan, both of which are about to become Taliban controlled. It seems Washington is unaware that the Taliban is a religious movement within Islam. And though it may seem that the established clan leaders oppose Taliban control, the children are swept into the movement. And we find ourselves caught in Islam's holy wars (Jihads). Yes the Taliban has proven to be our dangerous enemy. But sacraficing the lives of our troops, searching for an invisable enemy is not the answer. We will win buy removing our troops and concentrating more on containing the taliban in that part of the world.

Afghanistan and Waziristan, is where our troops should have been to begin with. But NATO should be the harrassing insurgent, not the occupier trying to prop up a corrupt Karzai regime -- found a cool site; Balkingpoints ; incredible satellite view of earth
