Kwame Kilpatrick may be unable to keep book proceeds

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's promise in a prison interview to give the city all proceeds from sales of his memoir may mean he can't keep any profits from the book for himself, the Michigan Court of Appeals said Wednesday.

Kwame lived the good life for some time. He probably was on the take from back in the state legislature. It's coming time to pay the piper. LIke Dennis McLain and others, there will still be an interest when he gets out waaaaay down the road. He can become a preacher or consultant. Preacher would work best because of all the potential cash intake. LIfe won't be over, but he will be out of our lives.

Some here like to turn the tables and say whites do white collar crime and it's no different than violent crime. I say blacks have proven no stranger to white collar crime either. Look at the Kwame Enterprise and William J. Jefferson's $90K in the refrigerator.
