I work in human resources and im told by white people to trash black etnic name applications and never call them.

. Lets say the state come in and we dont have blacks im am told to hire a few and after we look good for state dimiss them and get rid of them for absurd reasons. Like one black had came in one minute late . We used them to look good for the state then we got rid of her since she was late for one minute

Lena instead of comming in here and talking some racist crap and grouping all white people into one boat you should contact the federal government for the state of Michigan. You can do it anonymously and report the incident immeadiatly. What they are doing is just a s racist and wrong. Two wrongs dont make a right Lena!

Is it really o.k. for African-Americans to use the N' Word amongst each other as a term of endearment because of their past sufferings? That's what the view hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sheri whatever her name is said nationally the other day in a heated debate on The View.

Here's the thing. Although I agree that there were great sufferings in the African-American Community, we need to look back at world history and understand that these were not the most civilized times and just about every race, creed or color has been subjected to slavery at one time or another; Including whites.

Isn't it true that it was the Africans themselves who hunted and sold off their own people in return for weapons, liquor and other royalties. And isn't it true that over 700,000 "whites" died to free them? Maybe we should feel we are owed something for our ancestors who died. Maybe the Government should pay us off, give us extremely low cost, or free education. Maybe we should have everything handed to us on a silver platter only to NOT take advantage. I am not a racist and I have in fact had this conversation with quite a few African-American friends over the years.

What will it take to get over this thing that happened so so long ago. The new generations should quit complaining, stop listening to music that frankly should make you sick, and let's start growing together. The opportunities are there, I promise. There are no more excuses. Even the stigma that Law Enforcement is holding you back. I have had my dealings with the law for DUI and I assure you they are not biased. I learned a really great lesson about that topic. DON'T BREAK THE LAW!!! It even took me until 32 years old, but it works.

The bottom line, America is in trouble and we need to stick together to overcome many more problems that are entirely more important that the waste of news time this topic is getting. Everyone is suffering. Let's get it together America, or we won't have a Country to complain about.

Im surprised they have not fired you. your grammar is horrible. If they are doing what you say they are doing, than you need to report them to the civil rights department downtown. If it is just one employee, than tell his/her supervisor.

You're treated much better than the Arabs and blacks. You'll be treated even better if you don't expect those to understand you when you speak Spanish and you enter the US "legally".

Anyone who doubts that bigotry and racism exist, need only review these vile statements. It is not possible for African-Americans to be racist in America. Perhaps in Africa, but not here. African-Americans can be bigots, but African-Americans do not control the economy, major corporations, the government, and are only a small minority in this country, which has a huge white majority. In a period when we could elect the first African-American as President of these United States of America, can't we try to overcome our bigotry and insistence on painting all people of one group with one broad, unfair brush?
