Man charged in series of bank break-ins, police shooting
A 21-year-old Detroit man is facing charges in a series of break-ins at banks after Southfield police said he was shot by officers Saturday morning when he tried to run one of them down with his vehicle.

I thought banks were harder to break into than a fishing shanty.
I thought they kept the money locked up within the banks.
I thought they had 24/7 security activation at banks.
I thought police usually executed someone on the spot when they were threatened.
I was wrong on all counts. Now I know my house is more secure than a bank.
