Mexicans may be cool for now they dont have numbers but TRUST me they will trip when the numbers increase do them how they do black people in la and run them out quickly!!!
Really, Detroit is 85% Black so I dont see how mexicans can take over Detroit unless they settle in areas outside of southwest detroit like northwest Detroit. Many blacks are moving out of the west side and the east side of detroit.
It will be cool to see if the mexicans replace the blacks in Detroit who are moving to the suburbs.

Sure it is something now. It is a hell-hole that has been desolated by 8 years of Granholm. The people are stupid enough to elect Virg to continue to destruction.

that's because blacks don't hate mexicans the way mexicans hate blacks. when mexicans have huge numbers you see all kinds of racial violence. when they don't they quiet. that's pretty much how it goes.

I grew up in the sw area. When I lived there there was crime but also hard working people trying to keep the area nice. I think it's a shame how people destroyed the area. Once crack cocaine moved in the hood went to shot. I have not been there in yrs how is it in 2012

I like Mexican people. They are tough, and rightfully so. Aint none of them will bother anyone unless they ask for it. I dont like the illegal ones for the right reasons too. But at least they act like they want a chance to have the American dream ... work, home, family, food and such. They appreciate the basic things and aint out there creating perverted strip clubs and hoes. Anyway ... thats my 2 cents for now.

I was born in Southwest Detroit, lived there until I was 25. I left because I wanted better for my kids. Now 17 yrs later, I have to come back to take care of my mother. It scares the hell out of me. Doesn't matter what color,race..When you sit on her porch all you see is drug addicts, prostitutes, and gangs. She is to sick to leave, but a prisoner in her own home. When I was young we could play outside, sit on our porches. It's a shame.

detroiters should be ashamed for having a wet back town, this is America where everyone should be speaking english and eating American food and supporting American business. These culture towns are breeding grounds for illegal aliens and dumb Americans are supporting them with American dollars.

So why don't you do something about it, run these critters out of the neighborhood and clean up the place. Why is it people just sit back and say how bad things are but never do anything to change things. Is your mother not worth the effort ? Some son you turned out to be, run boy, run and hide in the suburbs while your mommy is a prisoner in her own home. You must be very proud...

It's not as difficult to clean up a neighborhood as one would think.

You first have to visualize what your want your neighborhood to be, see it as it use to be, hold that vision, now watch how the magic begins to happen.

Every day, visualize stronger and watch the magic happen.

You see someone up to no good or loitering, you tell them, your intentions of cleaning up the neighborhood and you are asking them to help. If they laugh at you, that's ok, just stick to your vision and let them know any criminal activity will be dealt with swiftly, talk to them like you would misbehaving children, because that's what they really are. You have to be their parent too.

It takes effort to change things, it won't get there on its own. You know how many years it took for your neighborhood to get where it is? The good news is, it doesn't have to take as long to turn things around.

Things got that way because people just let things slide and stopped caring.
