I was really shocked to see that General Motors and Chevy are financially supporting a Korean pop music company which seems to have a very real contempt for the laws in the USA.

Recently they were busted again for violating NY City building codes and previously they were busted for illegally housing 5 Asian female performers in "firetraps" in order to save money.

MTV and Chevy are sponsoring a "Cover The World" contest where they ask four groups from four areas of the world to cover Cindy Lauper's song "True Colors." One of the groups is the Wonder Girls of South Korea.

Doesn't Chevy know about this company's New York City scandals?

This company (JYPE) doesn't care about NY City laws. How can you support them Chevy? It's just irresponsible.

In fact, I think it's just a matter of time before some American journalist exposes how corrupt some of these K-pop companies are.

I mean, this is an industry with slave contracts, plagiarism and payola scandals.

JYPE recently made a major Korean newspaper for the NINETH NY City Buildings' Code violation for their Manhattan office.:

Or google: JYP Office Violations.

Here are the two previous scandals in NY City:

http://view.koreaherald.com/kh/view.php...

Or google: Wonder Girls Ill-treated or JYP admits Wonder Girls lack insurance.

So this company had these girls in rooms that were "perilous to human life." To save money they stuck girls in
firetraps.

Nice company.

Nice way to treat Asian young women. Throw them in firetraps without health insurance and then get the Daily News to promote
the company.

Not all K-pop fans are blind zombies who refuse to look at the TRUTH behind how these performers are treated.

Chevy, you don't know about K-pop companies. They are pretty evil from what I've read. It is disgraceful that you would
openly give free publicity to them. Did you pay them or did they pay you?

I don't care because I have plenty of money and life is good. Products are made around the world. That's the reality. Buy what you want from the country of your choice. Even go there if you so desire.
If you're so smart, why ain't you rich?

Kind of a weird logic here. Not everyone wants to be rich. If you're so rich, why "ain't" you smart? LOL

Logic is not weird. It's logical.
In any case, I'd rather be financial comfortable than just THINK I'm smart and whine in poverty.

But, basically, you live in a situation worse than poverty. Self-satisfaction with mediocrity.^^

1) Enjoy your wasted life.

2) Unfortunately, I am not experiencing poverty right now. Sorry.

3) If I were impoverished, my life, unlike yours, would still be meaningful.

I'm sorry you have no friends, no life and have to pretend to be rich on an internet forum.:)

Obama has said now that he wants to boost the government incentives on electric vehicles as they are not ramping up fast enough for him.

Maybe we should ramp up on public transportation systems. In Halberstam's book: The 1950s, he states that General Motors bought out all the cable car systems in America and destroyed them to ensure people would buy cars.
