I have used comfort dental in Glenwood Springs. The office help was under trained, but my dental care has been alright. I have had treatment from two doctors and they both did good work. Maybe we are lucky and attract better dentists.

That is something that I haven't known about. I thought about moving, but now I am having second thoughts. I think I'll stay here were the companies are good.

Would you like me to cover their walls with mayonaise, 6" thick?
It'll really freak them out.

In mid 2013, I had some major denatal work done at the Comfort Dental Office at 7990 N. Sheridan Blvd Westinster, CO. The so-called dentist that I had the unfortunste displeasure of meeting and letting him work on my mouth is Ryan T. Mangrum. He doesn't even deserve the title of Dr! The work was horrible to say the least and I had to pay out of pocket 3 times for HIS mistakes. On my LAST visit to that unprofessional office, 2 weeks ago, I was dismissed after seeing the mess they had made on my bridge. I was dismissed by Mangrum with a wave of his hand. He knows what a horrible job I was left with. To top it all off, the front office being some of his medical staff stood there and lauhed while I was exiting the office. I hope that any other dissatisfied patients are not treated in this horriic manner. I took my business to a true professional and got the work done RIGHT! I should go in there and show them how a true professional gets it done the first time!

I went to comfort dental for cleaning...had injections to kill the pain. Afterwards 3 teeth were hanging down from scalping away the bone and not just the tartar. A reliable dentist told me, when I finally had to have teeth pulled, that their work definitely contributed to early loss of those teeth. Coworker had a filling. Done at the same place...got infected. At another location a friend had a cap done. Rather than match the tooth color they "painted" the tooth and a week later the color was gone. They can only stay in business because the government is willing to send Medicaid people to them who can't afford reliable dentists....but who ever claimed the government cared ...they just want another dollar in their pocket by not having to pay responsible people.

I have gone to Comfort Dental in Longmont twice and been over charged both times. I know another person who was charged over $5,000 for dental work and then they billed his insurance. Every time he tried to get his money back they said he had to talk to the dentist who had moved out of state.
Robbery with out a gun!
The quality of the work is awful. I'm in so much pain now because of a tooth they fixed a couple months ago

I was severely and permanently injured by Dale N. Steen at the Lakewood, CO office almost thirteen years ago. I have been a chronic pain patient ever since. I do not know how this person sleeps at night. He has ruined my life. He did not respond to my certified letter requesting an explanation of what he did to me. I lost my job and social life because I could not function. I have medical and dental bills to this day. Not only did he encourage unnecessary surgery saying he will save me time and nerve damage by doing two crowns at once for preventative care (his exact words were you have two large fillings; one tooth is fractured and the other will), but the crowns were too large for my mouth and had to be replaced. One office is as bad as the next. Three Comfort Dental offices were involved in this injury. My jaw was ripped out of place and I also have nerve damage. It wasn’t until after I got out of that outfit of two years that I was given a diagnosis.

At the second Comfort Dental office, the assistant chased my bite by shaving down the crowns. She shaved one so much that the silver now showed. I told her now my bite feels off the other way. She said that is impossible. I just fixed it. It was off because my jaw was dislocated! I told them to get those things out of my mouth and they told me they couldn’t do that.

At the third Comfort Dental office, as I sat there as if my head was going to explode, they took x-rays and left the machine in the closet all the time forcing my jaw open again. They thought this was funny. That dentist also did unnecessary root canals. The dentist got a file stuck in my tooth and left me with an incomplete root canal. This dentist was also going to extract the teeth. I had a dislocated jaw!

The only reason Steen slipped through the cracks was because I was too dysfunctional to put up a fight and did not know at the time there were attorneys who specialize in dental malpractice. TMJ/D is not typically covered by insurance. I have been victimized over and over in this nearly 13 year old nightmare. You can run, but you can't hide. I need to tell the story over and over every time I am referred to a new healthcare provider. Some day you will meet your maker regarding injuring patients and running like a coward.

You are not only dishonest and dangerous, but you are a bunch of cowards who won't even leave reviews up. Just more proof you don't care about patients or who you injure. Your outfit needs to be shut down.

I wonder, do you still have your teeth that they did the job?
I had a crack tooth and the dentist from Comfort Dental put a crown and it was saved.
2years ago another noncomfort dental dentist did nothing about my crack tooth and I broke it and lost it.

You don't know each individual situation. Probably the tooth that hurt after a filling was because the person let the cavity go so big that the dentist cleaned it and tried to restore the tooth without charging too much but since the cavity was so deep the nerve end up dying and needing a Root Canal.
