Relax people its just a little lizard.Just go down to the lake and throw raw chicken at it.Before ya know it it will be completely self sufficient, eating pets and wayward children.

Be careful how you handle a "pet"alligator etc. There was an incident similar to this one during the spring of this year. An alligator was spotted in one of our ponds in Missoula, Mt by some kids. Instead of calling authorities, they took it upon themselves to beat it to death. Later it was found out that it had belonged to a fellow who considered it a pet. It had escaped from it's watery pen while he was gone. When he returned and found it gone, he called the police only to be told of the killing of his pet. He was quite upset and none of the kids involved told him they were sorry. They laughed about it. Thank you to the boys for turning it into authorities and not killing it themselves. I hope this will have a different outcome and given to the alligator farm.

Grab the wifie and kids, bring the beer and brats, some seasoning for the reptile, let's have a bbq while we hunt this man eater!!!!
This is going to be great!
Larimer county, get your ordinance officer out, someone might get "THE BIG TICKET" for lynching this guy! Also bring a rep from PETA, they'll make national news!
Earl, bring that big hanging scale in your garage!

Just shock the lake with some electricity and he will float to the top. The division of wildlife could do it for you.

they did that here in florida and it killed everything in the lake, As the dead rose to the top there was an audible sigh from on lookers. It was a classic case of "SHOCK AND Ahh"

Do not be afraid it's just my mother-in-law. Attach long rope a big hook with a couple of frozen chickens; toss into the pond. It will bring her to shore every time!

it would be really nice if people would do research BEFORE getting a "pet" to know what they are getting into. they are being selfish & stupid to bring something into their homes w/o being capable of taking care of it for it's entire life. they might want to consider getting a stuffed animal representing what their current wims of the moment are, that way when the moment passes, they can simply give away or toss the toy in the trash!! ;{
