Timeshare mogul warns in email he may be forced to lay off employees if Obama is re-elected
Published October 10, 2012
FoxNews.com
August 17, 2012: Jacqueline and David Siegel arrive at the Enzian for a private viewing of "The Queen of Versailles," a documentary about their family life in Maitland, Fla.( myfoxorlando.com )
A Florida timeshare mogul known as the "King of Versailles" has sent his employees an e-mail saying he may be forced to reduce the number of workers in his company if President Obama is re-elected.

MyFoxOrlando.com reports David Siegel, the billionaire president and CEO of Orlando-based Westgate Resorts, told his employees that though his company has so far been able to survive during the harsh economic conditions, he does not believe it will be able to do so if President Obama wins a second term.

"If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company," he says in the e-mail, which he gave to MyFoxOrlando.com . "Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone."

Siegel explains that he believes the current administration and the media are pitting employer against employee.

"They want you to believe that we live in a class system where the rich get richer, the poor get poorer," he said. "They label us the '1%' and imply that we are somehow immune to the challenges that face our country. This could not be further from the truth."

Say what you want but my employeer feels the same way. My company want's to grow past 100 employees but the owner say's it isn't affordable with Obamacare and he would loose too much. This guy is not telling his employees how to vote. He is telling them what will happen if Obama has another 4 years to distroy small business. My boss and alot of other companies won't do anything until after the elections because investing in this country with obama in office will distroy anthing that is left of small business, you know, the people that do most of the hiring in the U.S. But with most Obama followers demanding handouts and the government holding their hand the unemployment will always be high when nobody wants to work anymore. Too dangerous to invest in america if Obama remains in office. SD

He's not telling them how to vote?!? Yeah, right....lol

distroy? New word time it appears....

Certain people on this site insist they know what will happen if Obama wins yet they believe if Romney wins the world will become a perfect place for everyone. They are blinded by Romney and, frankly, pick and choose what they want to believe in spite of information to the contrary. No, I am not going to post the links which have been previous posted, and ignored, by those who cannot see past the fact Romney does not have the best interests of anyone but himself in mind.

My employer feels the same way. This is not a good time to start a small business either.

Timing for small business creation keys on what you're creating.

For instnace, right now wouldn't be the best time for opening a hamburger joint across the street from Wendy's and Burger King ... but my alpaca farm is thriving due to not only the sales of my alpaca wool, but I invite people out to the farm for a small fee and allow them to tour the farm including a nightly performance by Lucille the roller skating alpaca.

We also do weddings and birthdays.

[ NO bachelor parties ]

But my point is,... creating a small business in the current recovery mode of the economy depends on your creativity in product and marketing.

Success has never been gauranteed, people have always took risks. People who fear failure may not be cut out for business.

If you ain't a mover and a shaker, be a stepper.

Patience.

The righties are still on cloud nine over the bump from the debate. They've gone completely off the charts today posting polls, and articles about polls, and complimenting each other on their respective polls ...

The polls today didn't account for the unemployment news that came out Friday. Those poll numbers will begin to reflect that news, probably tomorrow - definitely Friday.

Then, there will be the inevitable Insta-poll right after tomorrow nights debate, which will be meaningless because it's a reactionary poll.

The effect that debate will have on polls (if any) will not be reflected in numbers til next week, and of course by then we have another debate and I'm sure Romney will have said something screwy by then.

These righties will be less cheerful next week, so enjoy their good mood.

Now surrender to your stupidity and leave here.

What's sad is how so many Mitt Witts can't stay on topic and just resort to name calling, belittling behavior and outright stupid statements.
Then add the fact these Mitt Witts create one id after another in an attempt to support their position as they haven't a clue how to show their Mitt Witt in a positive light.
No wonder they can't see Mitt Witt is not a viable candidate and is just as stupid as they, and their comments, are....lol
I agree it's funny how people resort to name calling instead of defending their candidate rite?

What funny is airheads who think he said, "Vote my way or your fired."

That's NOT what he said and only an idiot would think so. And only an idiot would defend the moron who made that post.
