The GOP in the House are doing just what we elected them to do; cutting wasteful government spending, reducing intrusive government regulation and stopping higher taxes.

The GOP only has the House; it can't push legislation through the Democratic Party majority in the Senate. Boehner is compromising with Obama and the Deocrats, he isn't advocating tax rate hikes on anyone.
Let's see how the vote shakes out; I'm sure it will prove Boehner isn't the bad guy. Obama owns this economy and he's not interested in cutting wasteful government spending.

So Boehner agreeing to letting the tax rates expire for the wealthy is not raising taxes on them?

There is no tax "Cut" is correct Boehner has agreed to a tax rate INCRESASE for the wealthy going back on his Tea Party pledge to NOT RAISE TAXES.....Boehner and the Republicants LIE, but they have realized the Tea Party is irrelevant.

98% of Americans, President Obama and the Democrats win because the tax rates on the middle class will remain the same and spending is begining to be addressed

Obama has endorsed the Bush tax cuts for 98% of Americans; why not 100%?

To preBush tax cut levels, the Clinton tax rates Obama loves. Boehner can't pass his own budget, this is Obama's.

A political reality; the G.O.P. doesn't have enough votes to pass a budget through the Senate. Face facts.

Let's see how the Democrats vote; Obama isn't known for party unity.

The Pre-Bush tax rate levels are ok. What is wrong with them? The economy moved right along under Clinton. Tax rates were cut on the wealthy to help create more jobs. Its not working very good is it?

Face the facts.

Higher Tax Rates under Clinton and 23 million jobs created.

Lower Tax Rates under Bush and only 3 million jobs created (mostly government jobs at that).

I disagree, he doesn't have the votes to pass his own budget so he's compromising to stop tax rate hikes on most Americans.

Obama will let the Bush tax cuts expire, so low information voters will blame the Republicans. It's already working on V.

Obama certainly agrees, he's doing everything possible to not compromise and let the Bush tax cuts expire.

It worked for years, you've got to keep cutting taxes and wasteful government spending if you want a well managed budget.

Unemployment was far lower under Bush than Obama.

How many more would have been created if rates were lower? The more money you take from the private sector in taxes, the more you harm the private sector.

While Obama has only managed to lose jobs (except in government). Obama's not interested in cutting spending.

The President does not need to compromise he is not the one who created the fiasco the republicans did. The middle class tax cuts will remain the only sticking point is the cuts to Social Security and who is considered the wealthy 250K or 400K or 1M

The President has already suggested Social Security cuts even tho his party isn't happy, he is compromising unlike Boehner and the republicans and they will LOSE they are getting use to being LOSERS so they do not care about the American people.

Obama's presidency has created more jobs in 4 years than Bush did is 8

If the President isn't "interested in cutting spending" what is the 1T in cuts he has proposed

You are biased and blinded by right wing LIES and worn out rhetoric that does not work. One would think after losing the last 5 out of 6 popular votes you dumbells would wake up. You and your party do not have what the American people want....

The facts that you continue to deny are that under Clinton tax rates were higher and 23 million jobs were created.

Under Bush, tax rates were lower and ONLY 3 million jobs were created.

Higher tax rates = 23 million jobs created.
Lower tax rates = 3 million jobs created.

Get the picture?

Sure unemployment is higher under Obama, the tax rates are still lower and there was that whole recession thingie. Plus the failure of the Republican House and Republican Senate under Bush to fix the housing crisis when Bush warned them several times about it. They had complete control of Washington at that time, were warned by a GOP President and still did nothing about it. Bush, at the same time he was warning Congress, was asking Fannie and Freddie to make more loans available for high risk borrowers further adding to the problem.

You should pull your head out of the sad from time to time and see what is going on around you..lol.

I can't help it if you didn't like the facts I presented about tax rates and how they relate to job creation.

For those following this thread, did you notice that no one refuted the facts I presented? Its because they can't..lol.

BTW, it looks like Boehner's Plan B which increases tax rates (You see that Brian G) failed to get enough support from fellow Rethuglians.
