You just got served a heap'n helping of reality and you'd be better off to just not try and respond with such juvenile-rated intellect as to suggest that I'm lying.
The information I presented is easliy obtainable, and is crystal clear.
FACT; Congress can ban any firearm it deems necessary, and said action does NOT violate any 2nd amendment provisions. That means any gun, not just fully automatic feed weapons, but includes (as noted) even single shot shotguns.
One more time; The 2nd Amendment (as all amendments) is NOT absolute. You cannot own a sawed off shotgun with a barrel less than 18", you cannot own a shoulder mount rocket launcher, you cannot own a tank, you cannot own a nuke ... all considered "arms" by definition.
As goes the First Amendment, "Freedom of Speech" does not allow for you to say anything you want and be Constitutionally protected by the 1st Amendment.
If congress can truly ban anything it wishes , it is time to use our firearms as at that point none of the Constitution means anything. I believe you are wrong.

AH... if you properly register them... you can own machine guns.
That's true too. I believe machine guns manufactured from the late 80s on can only be supplied to law enforcement. It seems to be time consuming more than anything if you wish to register a short barreled rifle or shotgun.

<quoted text>Actually, you are incorrect. I would suggest you consult the ATF website. You CAN own short barreled rifles and shotguns, assuming you properly register them.
How does that coincide with an absoluteness of the 2nd Amendment? Are those shotguns banned or not?

And furthermore, decribe the difference in that rule and the one proposed currently by Sen Feinstein concerning assault weaponry.

Absolutely.

If the United States wasn't blessed with the most powerful Military Forces in the World, I might be a little more receptive to that homegrown militia crap to ptotect our shores from British or French invasions.

But, I think our service members have a handle on it.

fineswines bill further infringes on our rights. It goes as far as being treason by exempting those who are voting on it.

What a quaint comment.

Tell me then, as one who believes assault weaponry is necessary to ward off evil government tiranny, how many AR-15's do you figure you, your brother, and two cousins will require to fend off an Army platoon?

Why would they be coming for you?

and ...

Have you considered how well David Koresh fared going up against the Government with weaponry?

He is currently sitting around the campfire in hades with Saddam and Osama sharing success stories. But, you're much smarter and have a better plan, right?

Remembering school were students so many students had rife racks in the back window of a pick up truck and seen very, often every day and often, with all types of rifles. No one got into the issues we now have now Remember not long ago ?, But if a student had any small amount of marijuana you got jail time and had to go to special schools for bad kids. The goverment said kids that promoted peace and love , were not to be part of the system , Now they wish they had a nonviolent school , were kids were often abused by police , who had a chance to play abusive downgrading behavior , that made more antisocial leaders who made money , with death and insane music as the way to go away from peace love and a way to connect in a non violent form. if you abuse children with socialistic abusive jail house reform school you get what you see, and its getting worse as you can see. its not the guns its the children and veterans and peace loving people who have to deal with the police who walk over the line and have a great time slamming the jail doors on anyone they can .Rather than trying to fix the issues give up and arrest someone for looking strange or black or white or Mexican or strange its the ,lock them all up its good for you to learn about the jail life rather than showing them they are ,Americans and someones child, who has a parent that a pathological cop had just marking for fun, a Coloradoan for life and just also created a hate for all cops who may lie ,because one or some do make it a joke to talk about at police beer party's . I hope more police stop the ones that have been protected by other officers , who make the rest dirty cops.
