Over forty percent of the weapons sold in the USA are sold without background check.
You have something to hide?
That 40% figure is taken from stats over eighteen years old. Got anything newer, say from this century?

<quoted text>So again I ask. You are posting all this crap about Obama and gun rights. Please for our listeners at home name one Right you have lost due to Obama being President.
It is not like he didn't try. In December,Obama told Congress that he doesnít consider himself bound by federal laws that limit his ability to use tax dollars to promote gun control.
Obama's two supreme court appointees, Sotomayor and Kagan are both anti gun as is the Fast and Furious Fiasco Attorney General, Eric Holder. If Obama gets to appoint another anti gun liberal to the supreme court they will be in the majority and could reverse the Heller and McDonald decisions stating the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right. Obama's choice for head of the BATF, Andrew Travers is so anti gun that the senate blocked his confirmation.. Obama's nomination of Caitlin Halligan, formerly the solicitor general of New York, to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals would have put another rabid anti-gun activist in a position where she could do maximum damage to the Second Amendment but she wasn't confirmed either. Because of Operation Fast and Furious the Obama administrationís BATFE wrote, and began implementing, a new rule that would require gun dealers in the four U.S. states that border Mexico to report sales of multiple semi-automatic rifles to the ATF. Nothing like creating a crisis to implement more gun control by the feds. The fact that I haven't lost any 2nd Amendment rights isn't that he hasn't tried, he just is a bit inept at how to dismantle those parts of the constitution that he doesn't like.

Nope.
And -if anything- it's underestimated.
PS: 88 percent of Americans favor background checks on all gun sales.
PPS: 94% of police chiefs, 87% of Americans, and 74% of NRA members support requiring a criminal background check of anyone purchasing a gun.
Wipe your chin, Donglicker.

Nothing from this century? Bummer.

No problem, I pass instant background checks which take about five minutes. It would take you at least five minutes to get off your knees and then you would need a background check from animal control and the inevitable three day quarantine for distemper.

Great.

Because ALL gun sales and transfers will require a background check and we can be sure to remind you that they take five minutes.

Something the NRA has and will fight tooth and nail.

Wipe your chin, dear, you spilling on the rug.

Sounds great.Anything to keep firearms away from the violent Democratic base though they probably get them illegally so background checks won't help the homicide rate in violent Democrat controlled Chicago, Detroit or Philly.

By the way,how are your new knee pads working out for you? Good thing they don't ban high capacity BJs ,you would be out of business.

BJS and knee pads. You really know how to meet those challenges head on, don't you? How is that federal assault weapon ban working out for you? I mean the president was a a bit more wimpy than I expected. He reminded me of you, without the knee pads, of course.

Yes the professional politician Republicans didn't even keep it close. The only thing they got out of it was the privacy clause. How they were leveraged will be hard to determine. You don't hold late night sessions for nothing. Coumo wanted the bill rammed through to coincide with Obama's presser.

But this is why they needed time for feed back. Gun registration, retroactive bans, magazine and weapon capacity limits. One million gun/permit owners and others approved that?

But in a left state they knew they had to kow tow the DEMographics. They were elected to vote in line with their party beliefs and not an agenda for their own job security.

There is no assault weapons ban, donglicker, hasn't been for years, you have to start spitting out some of your boyfriend's love seeds or charging your customer's more to swallow, of course, that's your business but the spooge is softening your brain.
