I did some volunteer work for the Salvation Army last year at their distribution warehouse.

Donors should know that the primary beneficiaries of your generosity are illegal aliens. The illegals would pull up in nice shiny trucks, get out their 8-10 kids, and immediately demand a translator. Not request, DEMAND. If the madres didn't think we were giving them enough free stuff quickly enough, they would yell at us (in spanish, of course). People who do any volunteer work know that the illegals mooch off the charities, taking but rarely giving.

Charity starts at home. Don't give your money to organizations that are just giving it to criminals.

I done work with them as well. I saw white people being helped as well.

I dont care what location it is, these people are abusing the poor. They come in for help more than once and they think its a reason to verbally beat the shit out of them.

And DONT be misguided into thinking I got abused only once so it must be 'a one time thing'-it was multiple times, at multiple locations over many years-that means that's just how they ARE. IT'S SYSTEMIC.

Since they hate the poor, they should stay out of that business.

I'd never give money or anything and I encourage others to do the same.

My family is in need of christmas help this year. I have 2 boys one who is 4 and one who is 2. My husband just started a new job and we are not going to be able to get our kids anything for christmas because we have to get caught up on bills. Ladies, go to your local SA and fill out an application. Tell them what exactly what you posted here. Make sure to take proof of income, bills or receipts, birth certificates, and clothing sizes for your children.

I just watched 9 news this morning at 700 am and I saw the Ads "Christmas Assistance Salvation Army". I would like to get help on this year Christmas for my kids. I am a single mom with 3 children. It's very thanks full that Salvation Army helping out the lower class like us so we could have a wonderful Christmas otherwise, we no longer know what is Christmas any more because the eccomony is down the drain, plus its hard for single mom or lower class family like me to bring food home to feed the kids.
