Nearly 350 homes destroyed in Colorado

Firefighters made progress Thursday in fighting a blaze that has devoured more than 18,000 acres in Colorado, but their sense of accomplishment was tempered by the news that nearly 350 homes in Colorado Springs had been destroyed by the flames.

Many of the owners of homes that have been turned into secondhand burning home smoke are enthusiastic supporters of the unremitting harassment and abuse that Big Government directs at decent women and men who enjoy the simple pleasure of smoking an occasional cigarette or cigar. They are not very nice people.

Using hard earned taxpayer money - much of which is extorted from decent hard working tobacco smokers - to provide financial or other aid and comfort to those anti-smoker activists is simply not the right thing to do.
