There are black people in Denver?
I know there are some in California but I didn't think there were very many west of Texas other than that.

Get your facts straight, Jeff.
No motive is known at this time. Bringing a bug sprayer filled with a flammable component is not the usual methodology for those seeking to score drugs.

No I was truly curious. I didn't know there was a significant population of blacks in Denver.(which is what the police reports stated they were)
And yes, I have traveled all over the country, I do know what I'm talking about. There aren't many blacks west of Texas/Oklahoma/Illinois/Kansas , etc. And by Kansas I mean eastern Kansas.
Latinos & whites are the main groups in the SW states & blacks are even rarer when you go up into the mountain states like Utah or Idaho or Montana.

What the heck does it matter, Jeff? Are you keeping track of them for a certain purpose?

I studied sociology & geography in college. I understand racial population distribution. With due respect I think your 'why does it matter' question is racist in and of itself.
If you actually travel the country you'd find that I'm correct. Outside of the Bay Area, parts of Los Angeles, & parts of Las Vegas, there really are no significant populations of African Americans west of San Antonio/Dallas/Oklahoma City.
Don't believe me -- look it up. There was no malicious intent. I truly was surprised you guys may have a ghetto. I figured you'd have more barrios & white-trash type meth areas.
Of course there are some blacks in your state but I figured they were more upscale professionals or military members. The west isn't known outside of Oakland & LA for its lower class black areas.

Where I live there are a lot of Vietnamese-Americans & a few Indian-American families but there for instance, many Japanese, Korean or Chinese families.
It was an honest question. I have no idea why you're seeing a conspiracy. If you wanna be delusional & "colorblind" go ahead, I guess.

I wish they had an edit button.
I meant to say there AREN'T many Korean, Japanese or Chinese families where I live. Or really any Middle Eastern people either save a few doctors.

Who are you? Jeff or Gulf or one in the same? If you want to be racist & color specific go ahead, I guess. You are the one who is losing out on knowing some amazing people.
I am neither delusional or colorblind. I AM open to meeting and knowing all sorts of people.
Too bad you aren't.

funny, nobody here is afraid of meeting new people. But pretending that certain groups don't act a certain way as a general rule is stupid, & yes, delusional. And yeah, jerry/gulf, same thing.
But again, believe whatever you want, I guess. "Colorblind" people don't have a very realistic view of the world. You can have opinions about groups of people without being "racist". Just because the black people you know grew up in lily white Denver & in white neighborhoods doesn't mean all of them are like that. Go east of the Plains states sometime or to Texas, & you'll understand what I mean.
The ones who live near you are probably either African immigrants(who tend to be more intelligent/educated) or grew up in upscale Asian or white neighborhoods.
