There is beauty in every type of body. A woman like Lizzy is just as beautiful as what you see in many of the "men's magazines", which of course only display what they think is "the perfect body". My hat goes off to Lizzy and all like her who are comfortable in their own skin. BRAVO!

I don't think there is anything wrong with the picture. I appreciate seeing a "normal" sized woman as a model. There are way too many, too skinny women that our daughters see modeling. I think Lizzie shows these girls that they can be proud of themselves regardless of whether they are a size 2, 12 or 22. Thanks Lizzie!

WOW!! Are you kidding me!Is this what the world considers plus size??
thats why the young girls today get so screwed up when it comes to image.beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
We need to start accepting that.

She is not a "plus size" model - in fact, I believe she is more attractive that most of the waifs that walk the runway or shoot for magazines.

I think it horrible of Glamour Magazine to publish these photos. Magazines are supposed to represent perfection. If I wanted to see normal people, I would look around not buy a magazine. In a country already overrun by the obese, why put your stamp of approval on it by publishing nude photos. If this were a skinny model would everyone be ok with the nudity or would there be a moral uproar. Just because something makes you feel better about yourself doesn't make it ok!

i personally think that if your plus size and look that good why not flaunt it!!!!!!! i also belive that this is showing people that not all people are a size 2 and that they should not feel bad about themselvs

Well, I think when it come to plus sized models. The average woman is reality no one in life has a perfect body and never will, unless they are anorexic or even bolemic and unhealthy. now ask yourself this one question could you handle the pressures of society and not being healthy or even eating a proper diet for the sake of other people. I think we all need to criticize ourselves before criticizing others.

I think that she is beautiful!!! I'm sick of seeing that "the norm" is a size 2! You should feel comfortable in your skin and be proud of what you are, and obviously she is, good for her! I think we could all take a lesson from her and start flawnting our own "flaws".

This is a very attractive women, and should be appreciated as such. You call this nude? I see more skin than this at the swimming pools and beaches. Nudity is a beautiful work of art. I also would much rather see this healthy women than an anorexic bean pole. Lizzie is to be commended.

This is NOT an average plus sized lady!! She's almost 6 feet tall and maybe 20 pounds heavier than a "normal" model. The average woman isn't this tall!! There is nothing "plus size" about her other than her height. There is no extra weight anywhere?!? If this is what you call "plus size" then almost everyone I know is an obese midget. I find myself repeating this line to often lately, "GET REAL PEOPLE!"

Agreed! Her BMI (25.1) is just a smidge in the overweight catagory (25-29.9)

... with everything going on in this world, this really is supposed to be the issue of the day? All I see is an overweight girl with a gorgeous face showing about as much skin as you see on a girl wearing a bikini, These are not nude photos. C'mon FOX, you're a conservative leaning media outlet. Can we please concentrate on the really important issues of the day or, at least, issue worth talking about?

Another example of exaggeration to promote an article. The article and warnings claim that this is a "nude" photo. Not hardly! She's only topless, but has less exposed than what is often shown in many other places. The fact that she's not anorexic is the only difference. There's nothing wrong with being slightly above "average" in weight. If this photo "rocks the fashion world", it has much bigger problems than this.

No, but the average model is about as tall and doesn't weigh nearly 160 pounds. Are you seriously suggesting that the industry regards Miller as "plus" because she's unusually tall compared to women generally rather than unusually fat for models generally?
LaughingOutLoud wrote:

You should get your eyes checked. Miller's obvious extra weight is known euphemistically as a "pooch". Models (male or female) don't have belly fat hanging over their waistband; Miller does.
LaughingOutLoud wrote:

The industry calls her plus-sized. The Center for Disease Control would call her "overweight". I doubt most of the people you know are so short as to be regarded as "midgets" by any similar standard.(NOTE: "midget" to a "little person" is regarded as offensive as "fatty" is to a "plus-size person".)

We've got plenty of "real people"--nearly 7 billion. The vast majority of us don't want to see any but a relative handful of the others semi-nude in Glamour Magazine. NOTHING in Glamour Magazine is "real", ffs.
