Bad start for the riding season... everyone ride safe and keep the gear on as well as both wheels on the pavement.
If you wanna go fast... hit those track days to get it out of your system!

I was right behind it as soon as it happened but didnt actually see it. Looked like the guy was riding a trike and he was laying on the ground with the bike laying on its side up I25 about 100ft or more from where he was laying. Didnt look like he was wearing a helmet though. I have a feeling one of the vehicles tried to cut in onto the I70 ramp at the last second, I take that ramp everyday and there is always one idiot who waits til the last second to get on the ramp. People just need to learn how to drive.

I saw a motorcycle south bound on I-25 doing about 100 mph weaving in and out of traffic like he was invincible. I wonder if this was the same guy. Note to motorcyclists... You are not invincible. If this was a motorcyclist following traffic laws then I pray that you did not suffer and rest in piece.

until they have roll cages for motorcycles no motorcyclists should act like they're invincible--i saw a motorcyclist going about 60mph on west colfax rear end a stopped car at a light by westland shopping center and his body rolled up onto and over the car--no helmet but lucky enough to survive--i think he was brain damaged before the accident

I was at the accident and saw it all happen and stayed the whole time. He was going like 65 miles an hour when he came around me. He was not in the proper attire, but that does not mean he had it coming. He made a simple mistake of not looking when he changed lanes. Mike next time you think some one had it coming you stay with that person and see what the after math is.

'He had it coming' because of what he was wearing or not wearing.
I'm sure you have a lot of things coming to you but no one has the right to say what you did. That was another human being lying their.
Where do these "clowns" like Mike come from?

I was reading some of your comments and this was the same guy speeding in and out of traffic. He wasnít riding a trike it was a cruiser, and he was wearing jeans and a t-shirt so no gear. This guy passed me right as I got into Denver; he was aggressively driving in traffic, not signaling when changing lanes and speeding. Then when I go to the accident 15 to 20 min later I recognized the bike that was some distance down the highway from the rider. To me it looked like someone tried to get off on the exit at the last minute which hit the motorcyclist throwing the rider right in the barricade wall. No matter who is at fault itís a tragic loss for someoneís family so keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The motorcyclist was wearing jeans, a blue shirt and a baseball cap backwards. He passed me in the right lane just north of Speer and changed lanes all the way over to the left. Based on my speed I would guess his at 75 mph with moderatly heavy traffic. It was a pretty heavy bike to be manuvering the way he was. Shortly after that, he was laid out on the right shoulder and his motorcycle was about 50 yards north of him. I can't say whether or not he had it coming, but he was driving recklessly.

That man was someone who had loved ones, he had a family and friends. How dare anyone say negative comments on this. Yes he may have gotten reckless and forgot the danger of the ride, but that does not give anyone any right to be critical. We all have been reckless even driving a car. A fully enclosed vehicle with a role cage, thinking we are safe and we ourselves forget the danger that even driving a car imposes. To those who are being critical and forgetting that your just as susceptible and not invincible, be careful what you say and do a heart check on yourself. One day it could be you or a loved one in a similar situation.
