Massacre-hardened Colorado a gun control test case

Jan 10, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Athens Banner-Herald

After the annual late-summer harvest on his farm in the eastern reaches of Colorado, Greg Brophy has a few friends over, breaks out the handguns and semi-automatic rifles and mows down some rotten watermelons.

The historical reality of the Second Amendment’s protection of the right to keep and bear arms is not that it protects the right to shoot deer. It protects the right to shoot tyrants, and it protects the right to shoot at them effectively, thus, with the same instruments they would use upon us. If the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto had had the firepower and ammunition that the Nazis did, some of Poland might have stayed free and more persons would have survived the Holocaust.

Most people in government reject natural rights and personal sovereignty. Most people in government believe that the exercise of everyone’s rights is subject to the will of those in the government. Most people in government believe that they can write any law and regulate any behavior, not subject to the natural law, not subject to the sovereignty of individuals, not cognizant of history’s tyrants, but subject only to what they can get away with.

Did you empower the government to impair the freedom of us all because of the mania and terror of a few?

Case studies will likely prove that misdiagnosing our children and medicating them is causing short circuits. Screening their mental health throughout middle and high school is paramount to just calling a parent and demanding they medicate a child who is acting out. The government is taking more and more money from schools, knowing full well even the best of parents are not reaching their children and finding the root of their despair. Simple mental screening twice a year would save our children from becoming statistics, and plotting mass homicide.

This is why schools and movie theaters are getting shot up, not because guns are available. The government is pleased with their diabolical plan to disarm lawful citizens, but lawful citizens really need to come together and make sure the American version of Schindler's List is never made.

People need to make a difference now, while they still can.

I agree, but it is wild that conservative (red ) states use these drugs far more then liberal (blue) states do.

I don't give a rats ass which party is popular from state to state Jammer. I see what is going on and wish it to stop. Maybe if the rest of America would stop with the "which party is right or wrong" act we can halt the wrongs that are being committed by our government before it is too late. Divide and conquer is what they are doing to Americans. Pay attention and stop people from voting for popularity and start looking hard at solutions.

There are groups of people stalking American citizens online in order to threaten, intimidate, and punish them for speech that is wholly protected by the First Amendment. Instead of investigating these real crimes, we have a punch of unthinking commissars out there helping to perpetrate these crimes. This country is in serious trouble if we do not get a handle on the outright treason that is being committed by Obama, many in the governmental agencies he administers, and his followers who want a dictator. I guess that's a verbal attack on an illegitimate usurper who has no regard for the rule of law in this nation, the U.S. Constitution, or the traditional values of real Americans, so I guess one of you assholes better report that to Attack Watch. While you're at it you can go ahead and tell them that I think that Attack Watch is the scum of the earth and should be arrested, tried, convicted, and hanged for their treason against this nation.

Barack Obama and family - armed Secret Service protection for how long...anyone? Bueller?

While we're on the first family...the Affordable (LMAO!) Health Care Act will never affect them. The Obama's will have the world's finest doctors and finest health at their disposal care for life.

ould not agree with you more.

Unfortunately the majority of low-information voters believe everything they're fed by the insidious leftist agenda which has been indoctrinating them since Day One.

"Case studies will 'likely' show ..."???

Yeah ..... okay, when those case studies come out, holler.

But my reply is directed at your insinuation that the government is taking funding from schools.

Let's be very clear about this. Republicans and Republicans ONLY are trying to force funding cuts in education. Mitt Romney ran on it. Obama has education funding as one of his top 5 prioritys,... and he ran on that.

You don't think money is misappropriated and wasted by our public school systems?

Did you know many liberals are critics of health care for profit? Do you see a slippery slope appearing before you?
