Pot smoke can kill

A judge has awarded a woman 23 Billion dollars because her chain tobacco smoking husband died of lung cancer. When I was a kid, we called cigarettes coffin nails. He knew.
Once tobacco smoking was the thing to do. It was championed by movie stars and all those who were considered "with it." Now, Pot is on the march. Within a decade it will be legal all across the nation. Like tobacco, drawing pot smoke into the lungs can cause lung cancer. Why all this distain for tobacco and love for pot. Does it have anything to do with making a dollar? Can a pot smoke who bought his delight at the corner pot store die and have his wife sue?

The problem is litigation not smoke. Case should have never made it to a judge. It says right on the package "causes lung cancer".

No body wants to take responsibility for anything any more. More and more we are moving toward secular humanism which allows the individual to decide for him or herself what is right and what is wrong. The problem is that the humanist does not want take responsibility for his choices. Across the country tobacco is the enemy and those who still smoke are ostracized and though of as social inferiors. Yet, Colorado has made recreational marijuana legal. A cloud of marijuana smoke hovers over today's rock concerts, not just in Colorado, but across the country. Does that smoke do damage to the lungs? What sense does it make to push the smoke for one and react with scorn over the smoke of the other?

because marijuana is natural. it's the chemicals in cigarettes that cause cancer. a simple google search can tell you the cancer causing ingredients they add to cigarettes. while the smoke from marijuana will damage your lungs, it's not irreparable damage like that of cigarettes.

Cigarettes are from a plant. Pot is from a plant. Cigarettes are natural as well then.

You're way off.

Actually your way off.
Yes tobacco is a natural plant; however it has roughly 4000 different chemicals added to make it more addictive and about 400 that cause cancer.
Please do some research and find out how many deaths per year happen due to smoking pot then get back to me

All plant matter, when partially combusted, contains carcinagens. I bet that doesn't stop OP from grilling his steak, or warming his house with a fireplace. And auto exhaust is a much larger problem.
